I used a RH replacement door to make a Movie Studio venue for Poppet's career. The door is made by Jynx. This is what my movie studio door looks like in Isla Paradiso. It works perfectly. You'll need about 3 squares in front and at least 2 behind the door.
I put the studio in a converted Le Cinema Plumbob lot, which now includes the movie studio door, a live venue stage, a movie and "screening" room, a kid's nursery area, and a bar upstairs.
The movie studio career door is below and to the left in this picture. Poppet went to work first thing in the morning without an issue. Other sims came and went from the rabbit hole too. Some sims watched the movie during the day and some just came and hung out. I replaced one of the juice/snack bars with a tea table.

I'm trying to think what I want to do about the upstairs. Right now I just have a professional bar up there, but I might set up a bistro instead and remove the gates by the stairs. But the bar did stay busy.
The Live stage works perfectly. A proprietor showed up right away.

A toddler found the kids room, which also includes a fridge and a sink.
