I spent game play furnishing the Island's new house. Maybe half-way done. Anyway, I don't really have much in the way of extra outtakes.

Everyone kept walking around the side stairs I put in at the castle, so I added short fences to block those pathways. Now they take the stairs!

02-18. A Breather and Some Building

This is just a simple update. A little more romance and the initial shots of the house some of the guys will be moving into.

While Chris was with Clara, Lotta had also appeared. She's Bradley's girl. Somehow she ended up standing in a place where Bradley couldn't reach her. He didn't have an option to call her over anywhere, and I was afraid to reset her, so I had Bradley challenge her to a wall climbing race. 


Lotta has the Brave trait, but I was still surprised at how well she did! She made it to the top and won the race!


Good grief, Bradley. For a Daredevil, you really seem to choke during competitions! I don't even know what to say. 


Cheer up, fella. Why don't you just go play in the shower with Lotta. 


Aaron's girlfriend Jacquelin also came to visit after the Martial Arts Tourney. I discovered her taking a nap in Bradley's bed.


Aaron was feeling stoked after his big jump to 2nd place in the Tournament. I decided he might as well take advantage of the situation. Bradley won't be needing this bed much longer.  Aaron woke Jacquelin up.


Bradley's bed was a nice change from the showers!


Afterwards, Jacquelin fell back asleep for a while.


But later, she claimed the throne chair as her own. Jacquelin and Aaron both have the Ambitious trait. The lady believes she'll soon be Queen of the Castle! ... When you're in 2nd place, you try harder.

Here are some screenshots of the new house I'm working on. It was originally a laundromat downloaded from MTS: Suds with Buds. But I thought the build would fit perfectly in my Mysterious Island world, and I decided to convert it to a residence.


Notice the unicorn at the nearby fishing spot. He's the black horse in the bottom right corner of the picture. This was my first sighting of him!


The back of the house. The home will take time to furnish, but should be fun to do. 


The house is built on a foundation, but I wanted a big basement. So I added this back porch and staircases leading below ground. It was the easiest solution for adding access to a basement level.


The basement hasn't been divided into rooms yet. It will need to be furnished too.


I've taken out all the washing machines, dryers, and tables in the main floor, but haven't added any furniture yet.


The upstairs already had some private home furniture included, but I'll need to work here too.

02-17. The Tournament Finals

The Knights have completed the Tournament to determine who would be the first to Resurrect their Lady Fair.

The last events were Martial Arts Sparring and an additional round of Archery. I also looked at their Charisma skills at the close of the competition, but those scores didn't change the final outcome of the Tournament.

Gentlemen Prefer Ghosts: Knightly Games

In Sim Fu sparring, there are 2-3 rounds per match. If one opponent wins both the first 2 rounds, the match is over. If one opponent wins one round and the other wins the next round, a third round is held to break the tie. So for the Tourney, knights would receive 0 pts and 20 pts in a 2-round match or 10 pts and 20 pts in a 3-round match, depending on the winners.

I made sure that each competing pair were equal in their Martial Arts and Athletic skill levels. All the guys started out with the exact same skill level in MA, so only their Athletic levels were used to determine who sparred with whom. Paired knights were within 1/4 of an Athletic skill point of each other. I'm really trying to be fair and impartial during the Tournament. 

The first two sparring pairs were Aaron VS Chris and Daryl VS Bradley.
Chris is saying, "I'm going to serve you up on a platter!" ... You know those scrappy Irishmen!  Just kidding.


The rounds began! Everyone got in some good kicks and jabs.


Both matches ended after only two rounds. Chris: 20 pts, Aaron: 0 pts. Daryl: 20 pts, Bradley: 0 pts.


The next sparring pairs were Trevor VS Steven and Guy VS Jeremy.


Again, the guys were evenly matched and everyone did well.


Trevor and Steven's match ended after two rounds. Trevor: 20 pts, Steven: 0 pts.


Guy and Jeremy had to complete a third round. After 2 rounds, they were tied at 10 pts each.


These two had the highest Athletic skills--almost to level 7. Because they fought a third round, they both also reached level 3 in Martial Arts.


It was a close match, but the final scores were Guy: 20 pts, Jeremy: 10 pts.


Guy and Jeremy showed off their new level 3 belts.

While the boys waited their turns in the competitions, I made them all watch the Cooking channel. We still needed an Ambrosia cook! 


The last event was a second round of Archery. This time, all the men had been told to finish four practices at the range. I had originally wanted them to compete using the Challenge shot, but no one scored any points at all in that during practice. So they performed the Quick Shot for this event (one level above the Basic Shot).

Aaron did very well.


But Steven really improved his archery skill.


Everyone made a good showing though.


Even Bradley this time.


But as with the first Archery event, the scores still varied. Archery has been the toughest challenge in the Tournament.

Aaron: 195 + 130 = 325
Jeremy: 210 + 90 = 300
Trevor: 195 + 100 = 295
Chris: 210 + 65 = 275
Steven: 105 + 140 = 245
Daryl: 140 + 80 = 220
Bradley: 75 + 100 = 175

I finished the final scoring by also adding a Charisma Skill score to everyone. The Charisma score didn't change the results of the Tournament, but I wanted to include it.

The Knights' ladies will be resurrected in the above order, with Guy's lady being the first. 
Steven, Daryl, and Bradley will soon move to an inactive home to make room for the first 3 ladies.
Later, I'll need to decide who moves out next. 

02-16. Gentlemen Prefer Ghosts: Family Trees

I happened to see lots of flowers, gems, and ore at the Arcane Guild, so I sent Dromio over to gather them up. He also collected a Will-O-Wisp!


Then the raccoon wanted to play chase, and I let Dromio socialize before he cut the gems and smelted the metals.


When I zoomed back home to check on the sleeping men, I found Chris awake and chatting with his girl Sophia! She had finally come for a visit and Chris had welcomed her on his own. 


They went from Acquaintances to Friends, then I had Chris initiate some romantic interactions. Sophia was happy to receive flowers.


And she loved the massage. They became Romantic Interests.


Chris and Sophia shared a first kiss.


I sent them to more even ground, and they continued their romance as dawn arrived.


Chris asked Sophia to Go Steady and she accepted! Then she quickly vanished.


All the gentlemen have official Girlfriends now on their family trees. I took screenshots of each couple's stats.
