More bits and pieces of game play.

Luna loves to race and jump. She's doing very well with the higher obstacles now.

Shade also likes the horse ranch. But I may have to do something about his Aggressive trait. Now he's getting wishes to kick and bite! I'm certainly not encouraging him. Emad, do something about that horse of yours! 

Speaking of biting and other bad behavior ... Evil horse, Evil master.

Bebhinn is no better.

Really Madame Governor! In a dress? Can't you save those soccer exhibitions for home? 

With all the public smooching and flirting between these two, they both now have Faithful reputations.

We had a burglary at the Faraz house while other things were going on. The lady officer showed up quickly!

She took a taxi down the road (the only broken road in Lost Cove) ...

... and told the burglar to wait here while she checked the house. The thief wasn't even handcuffed!

The Farazes weren't concerned. Bebhinn took time to practice a presentation while Emad just went back to bed!

Luna and Shade have become friends now. There is rarely any more aggressiveness.

No, Shade is not biting Luna here. They're grooming each other. They like to nuzzle too.

Emad and Bebhinn do ride the horses around Lost Cove. It really does save time.

Then the two horses entertain themselves on the lot, or I send them to the horse ranch for a while.

Luna and Shade still need care and attention from sims, but they socialize with each other more.

I haven't had a chance to race them at the Equestrian Center tournaments, but they're both close to mastering the riding skill.

If there isn't any horse-related items on a lot, the two just graze by themselves or play together.

Once I built a Live venue, I started getting all kinds of entertainers around town. Even the two Huang teens were magicians. But I already had 3 other magicians, so I made them quit and gave them part time jobs elsewhere. They need to concentrate on school, not stage gigs! They could end up like Emad--wild and evil!

Bruce Huang (father) turned out to be an acrobat. So right now, we have 3 acrobats, 3 singers, and 3 magicians.

I found Emad sitting in the fixer-upper car at the diner hangout. He was waiting for Bebhinn to finish her meeting in the diner so he could cuddle with her in the car. Sorry, Emad. She's going to be in there awhile. Business comes first with Bebhinn, you know.

Since the old city bridge had sunk long ago, Bebhinn and Emad took a water taxi to a party one night.

This is the local paparazzi hangout. There are sims congregated here all the time. I set NRaas Register to only allow 2 paparazzi, but as you can see, something's wrong in Lost Cove. I think they get stuck here, so the game assigns someone new until I reset everyone.

And yes, that's Ralph Burns thinking about the blonde. Apparently, he started out as a "reporter" before he went into politics. This pic was taken back when he wore blue tennis shoes. I stopped that habit though.

02-01. Families for Lost Cove

While scanning the NRaas list of sims in Lost Cove, I noticed there were two families. And they were large families! One couple had five kids and the other had 4. Since I'd put a school in the world, I decided to give these homeless families resident houses.

I went looking for small lot houses, nothing too elaborate, to place on 20 x 15 lots, and I found several homes at MTS. I chose the Two Story Starter and one of the five designs for a Townie House.

It turns out Ralph Burns has a wife, a teen daughter, child-age daughter, and THREE toddlers (two more girls and one lone boy). They needed a home--fast! I added a second story to the Townie House and gave them the basics.

The house sits in a little valley just down from the central area of Lost Cove. In the small back yard, the family now has a hopscotch rug, a block table, and a spring rider.

They all arrived safely to their new home. I was dismayed to see that the two toddler girls both had Imaginary Friend dolls. The place will be a madhouse! I haven't checked to see if the boy had a doll too.

Living and kitchen are on the main floor, along with bedrooms for the parents and the two older girls. There's an All-in-One bathroom and the usual bookcase, TV, and stereo. They also have a game console and a costume trunk.

The upstairs add-on is for the nursery and a full bath. I don't know if those three cribs will ever be used, but they're available if needed. The parents seem to use the playpen to store the kids!

Too bad all three toddlers can't be put in the pen!

He's still in the playpen. He has been there ALL day. I think he's gained enough of the Charisma skill to give motivational speeches. Probably knows so much abacus Logic he can now work calculus too!

The Huang family got the 2-story Starter house. I converted the carport to a family room (on the right).

The house isn't far from the Burns' home or the Minions' house. It sits just above a quiet beach area.

The back yard offers a slide and a couple of lounge chairs.

The main floor contains the living and kitchen areas and the new family room with the usual activities. The Huangs also have an All-in-One bathroom. The kids are older, so I gave them a chess table and easel.

Here's a better view of the family room and dining area.

Basic bedrooms and a full bath are upstairs. The girls have a toy box and a costume trunk. The teen boys have a small stereo in their room.

Gabriel, you are NOT leaving the house looking like that!

Whew! Much better. Sometimes normal is a good thing.

I also had to help dress his brother Curtis too, although he wasn't quite as frightening as Gabriel.

Mother fixed dinner, but one of the girls couldn't wait.

Dad sat down at the computer desk to watch TV. He didn't seem to notice the beautiful sunset outside his window.

01-20. Tigger Bard

I found out that the Dockery household adopted a kitten. I wondered if that would happen since Mikel is a witch and works better magic around a familiar.

I named him Tigger because of his coloring. And gave him the last name of Bard because all three sims in his family are Singers. When I first saw him, Tigger was thinking of Mikel the Warlock.

Then he said he was hungry and begged Natalia for a treat. Tigger has the Noisy and Piggy traits.

Natalia is Nurturing, so she was quick to take care of the little guy.

But I still had to add pet items to the house. Tigger was happy to discover the food dish.

This cottage doesn't have a lot of space, but Tigger can't climb stairs as a kitten, so I had to put his things on the ground floor. He can use most of the items now. The others he'll need when he grows up.

Tigger used the scratching post on the cat tower, and I'm pretty sure he'll be able to sleep in the bottom cave too.

I gave him a few cat toys. He'll love the catnip mouse.

But while I was watching, Tigger just wanted to roll around on the rug.
