03-11. Outtakes and Construction

The burglar was seen again, luckily not at the castle though. But I think he was casing the new Inn residence.
This is Teddy Bayer. He's a Dancer by profession. Jeremy got an opportunity call to make friends with him. ... Nah. We'll pass.
_____

Nerdhood is spreading throughout the Island. They're recruiting the bot too. Dromio should start playing video games if he wants to keep up.
He'll also have to learn how to take Nerd heckling and give some of his own back!
Even the ladies are becoming Nerds. ... These girls really need some new clothes!
______

After Jeremy invited Beowulf inside, a stray cat immediately showed up at the castle!
It walked right inside the basement.
And then it jumped up on the kitchen counter and fell asleep. It disappeared soon after that.
_____

After slow dancing with Trevor, Amika has now started flirting with Jeremy. (Amika is Guy's girlfriend.)
But Jeremy isn't happy about it at all!
All the sims like to make wishes, but I find Aaron at the wishing well a lot. He's Ambitious. I guess he dreams of becoming a true Performer. For starters, changing out of his jockey shorts might improve his public image.

_____

I spent a little time in game working on the 3rd residence lot. I ended up tearing down the odd shaped structure I'd originally placed. It didn't work for me. I kept the lighthouse, but I decided to build an abandoned chapel which has been converted into a dwelling.

This is what I've done so far. Very basic build right now. No landscaping as yet. These first two screenshots were taken in Build Mode.

But in Active Mode, it's winter, a full moon night, and snow is falling! Kind of pretty though.

Here are a couple of shots of the 2 floors inside. Not furnished at the moment. I'll probably keep the bottom floor mostly open-spaced.
I've divided the upstairs into bedrooms and a small bath, but that's all I've done so far.
Later, I added gargoyles to my build--and better columns on the Now and Then Manor tower. I can't believe I stayed up til 5:30 in the morning putting demon statues on a virtual building!

03-10. New Residents

We have two more residents at the castle. I definitely need to finish the lighthouse home so I can move some sims out. First, since I couldn't get the stray to follow Jeremy home, I had Jeremy pick him up and carry him to the castle.

Jeremy: Can I keep him, huh? He won't be any trouble. I'll take care of him, I promise!
Mother Goddess: Clean him up, Jeremy. Then we'll see how he behaves.
Exploring the castle.
The dog barks and wakes Jeremy up.
But Jeremy is very forgiving of the little mutt.
Listening to Aaron playing the bass.
All in all, the dog was well behaved. But when I saw him sleeping on the chair, I realized the castle needed several pet supplies.
I rearranged a few things and set some items down in the detached bedroom. I made this Jeremy's room for now.
I hadn't gotten any options to add the dog to the household, and it suddenly came to me that it was because the house was full again with the ladies added. I keep forgetting that even though NRaas allows more housemates, the game still doesn't. So I ended up using NRaas to add the dog after all.

I had already thought of a name for him: Beowulf. For his last name, I wanted to give him Jeremy's, but then I realized that Jeremy's last name was Bostwick. After repeating the name a couple of times though, I decided it was a great name!

Beowulf Bostwick watching TV with Amika.
____

Meanwhile, Trevor made two more Ambrosia dishes for Charlotte and Grizelda. Charlotte ate her Ambrosia, but Grizelda vaporized before she got the chance to eat hers. She and Sophia can have Ambrosia next time.

Charlotte, Jeremy's girlfriend found the Ambrosia.
Of course, Jeremy was nearby--thinking about Beowulf.
Charlotte was quickened!
And she joined Jeremy in his world. These two have Faithful reputations.
____

The next night was a full moon. The last two castle graves were still silent while Beowulf played with his ball on the frosty lawn.
Jeremy, Charlotte, and Beowulf later slept soundly in their new room. Since Beowulf didn't have any traits, I gave him Loyal, Neat, and Non-Destructive. I left him as an Elder, but did put his age back to the beginning of that stage.
Sims Annoying Habit Number 237: The need to put away toys. Darn it! I want that dog toy here, not in a box on the second floor!

Me: Drop the hot dog, Dromio! Now--or I'll shoot!

03-09. Random Screenshots

A pic of the Castle men showing up for a visit at the new Inn Haven house. The 3 wild horses decided to visit at the same time. Chaos!
Fall arrived and Daryl with the Neat trait was the first to rake leaves. Dromio volunteered to dispose of a leaf pile. There goes a chance for woohoo! Thanks for being so efficient, Dromio. Don't you have a job to go to? Only teasing. We love you Dromio.
One pile of leaves was left behind. Chris and Steven got filthy playing in it. No woohoo opportunities though.
I spotted the unicorn again. I've only seen him socialize with the white female horse. The other two wild horses are male. Interesting.
I caught a staring contest between dog and raccoon. Who do you think ate from the pet bowl first? The raccoon!
Trevor fried himself working at the inventing table. I heard a scream and zoomed over to find him scorched. But not to worry. He survived.

03-08. Doggy Time

Let's see. Outtakes. What about more doggy time? The stray seems to have taken up permanent residence at the library. Jeremy has managed to become the Stray's BFF, but I can't get the dog to visit the home lot. And I don't see an interaction to adopt him either. It must be a game limitation.

Uh oh! Fleas! NRaas to the rescue--flea moodlet removed.
Tug of war.
A knight and his dog.
Jeremy! Don't hold the dog under his tail like that! Keep your hand off his bum, for heaven's sake.
I think you're getting attached to the little mutt, Jeremy.
Smack! Right on dirty dog lips. This is a stray, Jeremy. Remember the fleas?
Ok ok, so the mutt is cute. I get it. We'll figure out a way to keep him.

03-07. The First Resurrections: Ladies of the Winning Tournament Knights

I forgot to get a screenshot of Trevor making the first Ambrosia dish. I'll try to get one next time. He made two dishes the first day.

I used DebugEnabler to spawn the ladies one at a time. I didn't want to wait until the right one showed up because it might take too long and other ghosts would probably spawn too. There could be confusion over which ghost ate the Ambrosia! I had promised the winning knights would have their girlfriends resurrected first.

Guy had won first place. His lady Amika would eat the first Ambrosia. Not knowing how this would work since I didn't control the ghosts, I sat the Ambrosia out on a table when Amika appeared and hoped for the best. She found it at once!
I made sure Guy was nearby, and he watched her eat the Ambrosia.
Resurrection transformation!
Amika will need new clothes, but here she is in the flesh! Sort of. She's still kind of ghostly looking!
Amika started to leave and I realized she was just an NPC! I quickly used NRaas to add her to the household because I didn't see any option for Guy to even talk to her. Yikes! I could have lost her. I wish I'd had a Philosopher's Stone!

Guy: Don't leave me now, Amika!
And she didn't.
____

Aaron's girlfriend Jacquelin had appeared the night before, but I didn't have any Ambrosia ready for her then. I found her making a wish at the well.
Then she practiced archery.
Until Aaron joined her.
The next night, after Amika's resurrection, Jacquelin also found the Ambrosia I left out for her.
Aaron was waiting.
It didn't take long for the transformation to start.
And then Jacqueline was returned to life!
I quickly added her to the household.
And Aaron welcomed his lady love to his world.
____

So that was my experience with the first resurrections. The guys were able to romance and resurrect their ladies. Unfortunately, they needed help adding the girls to the household. I wish I could think of a better way to do that. I suppose I could have someone still working on alchemy in order to get the Philosopher's Stone, but that is a very long process. No one had enough LT points to purchase it.

The next day, I sent everyone over to the pool for something different to do. As you can see, Fall had arrived. They raked leaves, but didn't seem too interested in swimming.

Jacquelin is a loner and said she was feeling anxious about all the strange sims around her. She went off to read, but her boyfriend Aaron, and then Chris, joined her. Guy was happy to be near his love, but Jeremy wanted to chat with him.
Meanwhile, Party Animal Trevor got a wish to skinny dip with Guy's Amika. Not on my watch! He did ask her to slow dance though, and I thought that might be ok. He's not flirty; he just likes to have fun. I guess. He actually has the Eternally Faithful rep now with Grizelda. Jeremy also has a Faithful rep with his girl Charlotte.
While Trevor enjoyed himself with Amika, Guy was being insulted by his fellow Nerd Chris. I use to worry about the boys always dissing each other, but I just let them work it out themselves now!
