03-12. Leisure Day with the Faraz Family: Part 2

The Farazes have three horses. Two females: an adult named Luna and her foal Tempest. This is my first born-in-game foal. I've adopted a foal before, but never had one born to my own horses until Tempest.

Tempest's father is Shade, who is Emad's horse. Luna is Bebhinn's horse, but all three horses receive care and affection from the whole family.

Tempest is still very young and needs her mother near her. She nurses most of the time, but the family also bottle feeds her if Luna is asleep.

Shade gets along well with his daughter. She even inherited his Aggressive trait. That's why I named her Tempest!

Faith and Paladin are Best Friends. They spent time at the block table together that afternoon, and both reached the max level of Handiness skill they could (hidden until they get older).

Paladin showed off his Doll Form for a short while.

And Faith pretended to be a princess. She has the Excitable trait, so she enjoys simple games and activities.

Paladin rode the rocking horse and chased bandits.

I noticed there was an option to Clean the Horse Stall. I'd never had a sim do that before. I told Emad to try it.

Cleaning didn't take long, but Emad complained about the nasty job. What self-respecting Genie shovels manure!

He got two bags of horse fertilizer from doing the work, though, which he used on the few plants they're growing.

Paladin likes to talk with Emad, and Emad is always nice to him. They share the Daredevil trait.

Bebhinn had a wish to woohoo with Emad, so after she worked on her memoirs, I sent them to their bedroom.

Afterwards, the family sat down to a meal of Lobster Thermidor--perfect quality, summoned by Emad and Bebhinn's favorite food. Genies make great husbands, especially for a career woman!

03-11. Leisure Day with the Faraz Family: Part 1

I opened my Lost Cove save because I thought it had NRaas Story Progression enabled and I could use this less populated world to revise my settings. But I found I hadn't enabled NRaas SP in Lost Cove yet. Instead, while I was already there, I decided just to spend a sim day with them. It turned out to be Leisure Day in Lost Cove.

The kids were awake and hungry. Faith is my first born-in-game Genie and I'm really proud of her! She looks like her mother Bebhinn, but she's all Genie like her father Emad. Paladin is her Imaginary Friend made real.

I had Faith Genie-Clean her mom and dad while they were still asleep. With a clap of her hands, she filled their hygiene bars so they could start the day sparkling clean. (Bebhinn is an Equestrian and often dreams of horses.)

But after Bebhinn had eaten, she started snarling at Emad. I have no idea why she was mad at him. She's just Evil that way. She's also Brave to stand up to Emad who can be a LOT scarier than she is!

Of course, Emad is Evil too, so he just lets her black moods roll right over him. He's dealt with far worse foes than his sassy wife. He calmly finished eating, then Genie-Cleaned the house.

Emad has very effective ways to make Bebhinn happy. The two of them constantly flirt with each other. Bebhinn is an Ambitious Workaholic, but Emad is Flirty and Charismatic, so he  knows exactly how to relieve her anxieties.

This time he chose to give her an amazing massage.

She loved it and rewarded him with a kiss.

But even on Leisure Day, Bebhinn wanted to Work from Home. She had a career opportunity still outstanding to write her memoirs, so I had her finish a few chapters on that. She reached level 4 in Writing while doing it.

Meanwhile, Emad practiced with his fire hoop. He's a Master Acrobat--a Daredevil and Natural Born Performer.

Nothing to worry about with this entertaining trick. Genies are Immune to Fire!

01-01. Young At Heart

Yesterday I did a little work on my blog. And today, I briefly went into the Dream Catcher save. I wanted to try out Nikkei_Simmer's t-shirts on Charlie and Mayra before working on NRaas Settings.

Mayra and Charlie both have the Childish trait, so I thought they'd be perfect for the new shirts. I used the tops as part of second sleepwear options.

I realized there's not a lot of difference between "talking through" a teddy bear and talking through digital sims! We either ALL have the Childish trait or we're all Young At Heart. I prefer the latter!

The ghosts, Mendel and Prisella, were being social.

Allen worked on the car. (It was foggy outside, so the screenshots were blurry.)

Prisella also decided to try a bit of handiness fun.

Gran had Ghillie Dhu summon treasure. The treasure was only quartz. I think the value depends on how often a particular sim summons treasure. Charlie has done it the most, so he gets higher valued treasure.

Gran gave Ghillie a bite of food as a reward.

Then I let the game run for a while so I could get the mascot and portal arrivals out of the way.

03-12. All Things New

I only piddled around in my new Mountain Lake game today. I wanted to check if there was another alien named Cexavu. I'm not sure how the alien population works. But at the moment, Cexavu is the only alien at all. Maybe the abducting aliens haven't generated yet. The role sims were still being assigned jobs. And the new Uni Mascot and the ITF Portal had just arrived.

Apparently, this mascot hadn't heard what happened to the last mascot who showed up on doorstep of Boddy Mansion! Do not enter if you value your life, friend!

I put this thing in the basement for now, but I've gotten where I sell the portals. Sometimes I place another one on a public lot, usually by the science lab. It just doesn't fit most home decor and it takes up a lot of space.

The main thing I wanted to do was take Carie Addle (the ex-mascot) into CAS for a slight makeover and some decent clothes. I hadn't bothered doing that when she was still a ghost.

I gave her a casual hairstyle and a wardrobe to match her athletic, party girl personality. I also applied a bit of makeup (eyes and transparent lipstick). And I tweaked most of her sliders to give her a slightly different look, rounding her face a little and making her eyes smaller but more distinct.

Carie seems to be doing ok in her simple home. She has the basics to keep her happy for now.

I just let my active household play a little while I was checking on settings and organizing this and that. I wanted them to socialize and build up their relationships again. They're actually a pretty friendly bunch. Diverse personalities, but they seem to like each other. Remember, these Clue House characters and their home were created by mycami21.

Patricia is a bigger flirt than Josephine!
