On an Autumn afternoon, Marion invited the islanders to a formal Feast party. Besides the residents, she had room for two more guests, so she also invited the mailman and a professional maid who Rex had met. (Before these two showed up, I used NRaas to change the maid's Klepto trait to something less disastrous. I also made sure that she and the mailman had a few things in common so they'd be attracted to each other.)
Marion got a wish to serve a home cooked meal at the party. She's not very accomplished yet, but she managed to make a decent Goopy Carbonara.
Rexel had just finished upgrading the downstairs shower to self-cleaning when guests began showing up. The girl in the slacks is the townie maid.
I was surprised to see that Shira the Barkers' little dog crashed the party! She was having fun with the mailman.
The main attraction was dancing. Pamela danced with Gort.
And Marion danced with Gork.
After greeting Vince, Rexel and he continued to laugh and gossip til I broke it up. Rex needed to mingle. One of Vince's traits is Good Sense of Humor. Whatever else he is, Vince is certainly well liked because he and Marion also get along well.
Those glowing werewolf eyes of Torin's--they certainly catch your attention! He and his wife Jillie both brought meat dishes. Werewolves do love their meat!
Idora was late to the party. She might have been at work in the Gypsy Wagon when the party first started.
The She-Diva does know how to make an entrance!
Rexel later danced with Emily.
While Torin danced with Marion.
I forget their names, but the maid and mailman found each other and enjoyed dancing together.
Then the feast began. Several guests had brought food, so there was plenty to go around.
Shira must have been getting tired because I saw her leaving for home through the back door.
Rex danced with Idora while Emily grooved to the music.
Marion danced quite a while with Vince. She and he became Good Friends at the party and she got a wish to be his Best Friend. I didn't see any flirting going on between them, so I think that wish is all right to grant.
The dancing and feasting continued late into the evening. Some of the guests helped clean up the dirty dishes.
Emily left in a jet boat. So this is what they buy with all the family funds I give them. Spoiled little rich sims!
Pamela was fairly quiet, but friendly with everyone. She also has a Good Sense of Humor, but isn't as outgoing as her boyfriend Vince.
Gort was diligent in doing the dishes. Very domestic for an Orc!
The Barkers, Torin and Jillie, danced together and flirted. Sweet couple.
Jillie was one of the last guests to leave. She bundled up against the cold outdoors.
When the guests started leaving, I couldn't see Idora. I finally found her in the basement, dancing alone. The stereo was tuned in to her favorite Dark Wave music. She must not have liked the choice of music upstairs.
As Marion and Rexel cleaned up after the party, I saw a strange red glow in the fog near the water.
When I zoomed in, I discovered Idora in her swimsuit. She must have swam across the bay to get to the road leading to the castle.
Marion and Rexel had been so busy mingling with guests, they didn't get to eat until everyone had left. But they were happy. Marion was pleased to hear that her party was a big hit. A good time was had by all--an amazing time!
