02-10. Do Lovers Raise Orphans?

I recently heard an old saying that goes, "The children of lovers are orphans." Can a couple be so wrapped up in each other that their children get neglected? I'm beginning to wonder about that with Emad and Bebhinn.

They've always been romantic with each other, despite the occasional Scare interactions. But since the pregnancy and their second marriage, they can't seem to keep their hands off each other.

They still love to give back massages, just like during the pregnancy.

I see all kinds of autonomous romantic choices. If Emad doesn't think of something, Bebhinn will.

When one does happen to remember the baby, the other will often cancel Faith out of the queue to replace her with more kissing. I have to make them stop. ... Really, their Evil traits have become a little warped, I think!

I decided to send all three of them over to the Burns' home for a visit, just to distract Bebhinn and Emad from each other. It didn't work! Bebhinn wanted Emad's attention even before they got in the door. He put Faith down on the ground so Bebhinn could stroke his cheek.

And then he dipped kissed her. Faith was lying there in the damp grass unattended.

Bebhinn and Emad were still at it when Ralph Burns came outside. He took one look at the mushy couple ...

... and then picked up Faith and brought her in the house! Emad and Bebhinn stood there astounded!

Emad: WTH! That's OUR daughter!

The door slammed in their faces! They were also complaining about a social jig in their way (which I found and deleted). But really, I think they were just annoyed at Ralph's nerve!

The house was open for their visit, and I watched as Ralph calmly put Faith in one of the toddlers' cribs.

To give them some credit, Emad and Bebhinn did go upstairs and check on Faith. Satisfied she was ok, they went back downstairs. I noticed everyone was hungry, so I told Emad to summon some food.

Everyone grabbed a piece of Emad's popular angel food cake.

Then all three parents autonomously rounded up the toddlers and put them to bed.

Emad took Faith home while Bebhinn tucked the last little Burns' toddler into his crib.

Maybe Emad and Bebhinn are carrying on so much because they're bored. Bebhinn's been away from her job for a while now--on maternity and wedding leave. But she still does a lot of Work From Home, her choice not mine.

When his wife is busy, Emad goes straight to Faith though. He stood here playing with her forever. He repeated the Watch Faith interaction about a dozen times. He was still at it when I closed the game!

I changed Emad's messed up Gold Digger Wish to Master Acrobat, so now he's not so concerned about money and dead wives. But he needs a new evil mastermind plot to challenge him, and I have something already in mind.

Then again, maybe all this romance is just because it's Spring. Love is in the air ... even for the horses and gnomes.

And a Spring gnome DID pop up during woohoo time between Emad and Bebhinn. That must mean something!

02-09. New Faces and Fun

I'd been meaning to get Emad a green dragon to help with garden harvesting, but last night I changed my mind and had him try for a black dragon. Emad talked to the dragon egg about existentialism and a little about enemies, so the dragon might have turned out red too.

I named the dragon Fiend. Very different playing with Evil sims! Caprice's dragon in Rinn Fada was named Bless.

Fiend puffs out smoke. He can summon death flowers and ghosts.

Fiend doesn't care a whit about gardening though.

But working with a black dragon maxes hunger and sleep motives, which might help with a new baby.

Emad asked Fiend to summon a ghost to haunt their house for a while--just for more evil atmosphere.

The first time Bebhinn played with him, Fiend bit her!

I tried something different with the Sunflower. Since there was snow all over the ground, I put it in Faith's room. This is the first time I've placed the Sunflower indoors. I'd also heard that if you put the sunlight it produces in the inventories of babies and toddlers, it really helps with their mood meter.

But I found out something awesome. Just being in the same room with the Sunflower produces moodlets. I hadn't even added the sunlight to Faith's inventory and she was getting a +40 moodlet! I still put sunlight in Faith's inventory, but the Nursery Sunflower is a nice backup if her sunshine fades before I notice.

On the other hand, Ms Evil, her mother, got a negative -20 moodlet for being in the room with the Sunflower.

So did Evil daddy. Luckily, the evil couple have so many positive moodlets, it didn't really matter.

Faith also received an Imaginary Friend doll. I'm going to let her keep it because I think she just might need a close friend through childhood! I gave the doll a male name, Paladin. And I named her genie teddy bear Balderdash, after one of her father's acrobat stunts.

Emad got an opportunity to speak to law enforcement about Charisma. Halfway through the presentation, he became very stressed. Talking to the police apparently was no fun for Emad!

I found some fun activities for him at the Ghastly community center. First he played darts with a couple of guys who were hanging around the lot. His team won.

Then Grim's doormat beast killed another paparazzi and Emad witnessed Death take her soul. He was Fiendishly Delighted about that event. More fun than darts!

A simfest was going on at the The Ruins, so Emad got to watch the last act of the show before heading home.

02-08. So Cold!

Extra screenshots ... mostly about ice, snow, and white powder!

Antwon was seen trying to visit his old minion home. Who was that new woman who had taken his place? Alone and already forgotten. Poor Antwon.

While Mikel was visiting, he called Emad over and cast an Ice Blast spell on him.

Emad was not pleased! Mikel was Bebhinn's best friend, though, so Emad just gritted his teeth ... when he could stop them from chattering.

Once the weather got cold, the pond on the Farazes' lot froze over. Emad and Bebhinn started walking across it instead of around it ...

... very carefully!

Balance is the trick.

While Emad was waiting for Bebhinn to get home from the hospital with Faith, he built a snowman. Who knew he had such a playful side?

Of course, we all know about Bebhinn's mean side. After feeding Faith, she went straight outside to the snowman.

And attacked it!

I know you love to fight, Bebby, but that poor snowman can't defend himself.

She used him like a training dummy.

Emad's work was completely destroyed!

You should be ashamed of yourself! ... Bebhinn the Bully.

While Emad was holding Faith, she dirtied her diaper, so Emad changed her instead of using Genie Clean.

He was having trouble with the powder though. He couldn't get enough to come out, so he shook it.

Emad got more powder than he'd expected and was soon coughing and gasping for air. Thankfully, Faith was ok!
