03-03. Faith's First Day

The day after Faith had her birthday, it was time to start school. The Lost Cove Nature School is a rough building that houses a small classroom (rabbit hole) for the few kids on the island.
Upstairs, is a bookstore (RH) and a comic book hobby shop. Comics are very popular in Lost Cove.
The school is just down the hill from the Faraz home. Easy to walk to, but a bus came by anyway, despite the bad island roads.
Faith was about to give a tea party with Paladin, her imaginary friend doll, when she was called away by the bus arriving. She gave Paladin a goodbye hug and set him on the patio.
I didn't think anything about her leaving him out. I should have put him back in her inventory! I forgot what happens next and I was not ready for this phase of the IF play.
The bus broke down before making it to the school. Faith had to walk the rest of the way.
Into the school RH she went. There are two other townie girls in Lost Cove. No boys her age. And there's one teen girl and 2 teen boys. Not counting service sims. Faith met both girls the first day. One friend came home with her.
The minute Faith got home and stepped into the house, the game camera zoomed up to the patio door being opened. Paladin marched in like he owned the place. Darn!

The IF is another reason I didn't want a second Faraz child. They already have one! He'll be a handful himself. I wanted to have a potion ready for him before he showed up, or at least have that process started.
Bebhinn was wondering who Faith was chatting with! It sure wasn't the visiting friend doing homework at the table.
Faith tried to do her own homework three times, and that annoying doll interrupted her each time.
Finally Faith got her work done and Paladin came over to ask for a pillow fight.
I checked Paladin's stats to make sure he wasn't going to cause other problems, but he was ok. He's a Pisces, just like Faith, and he has the Daredevil trait like Faith's father. He's also Athletic and has a Good Sense of Humor.
As soon as I can make him alive, they'll be best buddies. Right now, he's more a nuisance than anything else!
Look at the expression on Emad's face when he comes down the stairs and sees Faith pillow fighting with herself! The invisible doll is sort of fun at times. In small doses.
The kids went up to the playroom for a little while, then it was time for bed. Faith's schoolmate went home.
Faith checked under the bed for monsters. After seeing her live IF doll, who knows what else is around! Luckily the room was clear of creepy things.
Faith was exhausted and went right to sleep. Paladin sat in little doll form close by.
But first thing when Faith got up, he was there telling stories and jokes and laughing over gossip.
This is how I have Faith's room decorated at the moment. I needed bunk beds because I'm hoping to make Paladin real ASAP so I can control him. I suppose they can sleep in the same bedroom as children. Or I may put him in the downstairs part of the small tower, not much room there though.
Faith has a toy oven and a dance bar. I also bought her a Frisbee, laptop, and Multitab.
I gave Faith a second formal outfit. I wanted her to have a kimono. I also found a perfect hairstyle to go with it. I think she looks darling. Hot Pink is her favorite color.
Here's the back showing her fan tucked into the sash.
