So after a few days in the apt, I had a brainstorm and decided to see if I could make it work. I had Max move back to his tent lot and sold the apt, but using Nraas, I moved Kirby into it so that she lives there alone, no roommates. I had sold off any extra items I had put in the apt from gifts Max received, so the apt is pretty cheap for her to live in. I did leave a couple of upgraded appliances and I also managed to give her a Multi-Tab (had to use another Nraas mod to help do that!), umbrella, sketch pad, and Flying Disc. She also is level 4 in her political career. And the game gave her 20,000 for her household funds. Financially she should be fine. However...
I still worry about her being on her own. She seems to have "adventures." She's been abducted by aliens twice, turned into a mermaid then almost died of dehydration before turning human again. She stays out in the cold too long doing crazy rebel stuff. Max would be heartbroken if something happened to her. I really don't want to see her begging Grim for her life like poor Lenny did. Her decisions are sooo very NPC.
She was finally able to go to Max's tent lot, so they spent a little time there. But I think she's confused about where she's suppose to be. I hope in a day or so, she'll settle down into her new place ok. Max had to try to lead her to her own house and kissed her goodbye there.

Kirby finally settled in her own apartment ok. And all is well there.
A winter gnome showed up on Max's lot. I've never had one of these types before.
Then, something sad. Lala Angelista, Max's old and best friend (and boss) died of electrocution. No warning. Max had attended her party just the night before. I think the game was determined to take a life. At least it wasn't Kirby. Max laid Lala to rest by her mother, Tatiana.
Challenge Feedback:
I guess I was around half way when Maxwell really started showing his big accomplishments, maybe a little sooner than that. I think this was pretty quick for one of my sims, especially with the money. I play on epic life span and my sims do a variety of activities, so each focus would be different, but it most often centers around the lifetime wish. Even Max, though he hasn't concentrated on his resort wish, still is doing investing and activities related to that wish. Also, my sims don't always marry or have kids, but they usually pair up with someone. So Max getting close to Kirby is typical. During spring, Max will propose to Kirby--he has that wish. Then at the end of the challenge, I'll have them marry. It seems like it would be his personality, all part of his big plan.
I have enjoyed playing this, also experiencing Bridgeport. One thing, I haven't noticed any animals except one family dog in the world. No wild life or strays at all even though I put out pets things on a couple of lots like I usually do. I'm curious and need to remember to check what pet populations my world has.
