I opened my Roaring Heights game to see if David Morgan would make any progress in asking a sim to give him a toad-cure kiss. After spying on him for a few hours, I realized he wasn't going to ask anyone. Maybe townies don't autonomously do that. I don't know.
So, I had a choice: leave him to his fate, cure him with a cheat, or get one of my active sims to toad-kiss him. There was no way Elliot or Anabel would even give David the time of day right now! Not at this point. But maybe their Friendly plumbot Sono wouldn't mind helping a sorrowful toad.
This is David in all his toadified glory! It was in the middle of the night, but as usual, he had visitors.
Samantha Cassat is talking to the officer, who is only a service sim. The man in white is Hector Thebe.
David and Samantha's daughter Melody was upstairs in the playpen.
I don't know about other people's games, but in mine, David's two youngest daughters (by different women) have the same traits. The Genius trait was inherited from their father.
Hector wanted to take a selfie of himself with his toadified friend. He probably wanted to share it with his buddies on base. Hector is a Flight Officer in the Military.
David was still grieving the loss of his marriage.
"I weep for you. I deeply sympathize!"
Another visitor showed up, but David would not be consoled! His remorse was too personal.

It was soon time for David to head to his business office at SimCo Synergy. He's Ambitious and a Workaholic. No way would he miss work.
Sono found him later at the Roaring Heights Plaza and greeted him plumbot style.
Sono came from the future, so he can speak through holograms. The little girl in the background is David and Donna's daughter Carolyn. Maybe she was trying to get her dad's attention, but I didn't see them talking.
Sono visited with David until the sun went down. They became Friends, but I never saw an option offering to toad-kiss David, and David never asked. Whether that was because Sono was a bot rather than a regular sim, I'm not sure. BTW, the interaction is Friendly, not Romantic.
Sono: I'm going to try to help you, David. I sense you have regrets for your past actions. The humanitarian view is that everyone deserves a second chance, and I respect the ways of Humans.
David: I am most grateful, my friend! What do I need to do?
Now, Sono spends a lot of time at the consignment and elixir shops making trait chips and trading goods for the family. He happened to have a Cure Elixir on hand. I didn't know whether it would help, but I had Sono use it.
Sono: This mixture's curative power should work on toads. Just hold very still, David. It will only take a second.
Sono watched as David transformed back into his former likeness.
Let's hope he's learned his lesson and builds a better future for himself and all his family.
Back home, David welcomed yet another visitor, a teen girl this time. David is Mr Popularity!
Upstairs, Samantha had already gone to bed, and exhausted, David soon followed suit. But Melody was still awake and trying to get her mother's attention.
All her toys were downstairs, so using my sims' resources, I bought her a few things for upstairs as well.
She's just a little townie girl, but it makes me feel better thinking she's not neglected.
