03-03. Faith's First Day

The day after Faith had her birthday, it was time to start school. The Lost Cove Nature School is a rough building that houses a small classroom (rabbit hole) for the few kids on the island.
Upstairs, is a bookstore (RH) and a comic book hobby shop. Comics are very popular in Lost Cove.
The school is just down the hill from the Faraz home. Easy to walk to, but a bus came by anyway, despite the bad island roads.
Faith was about to give a tea party with Paladin, her imaginary friend doll, when she was called away by the bus arriving. She gave Paladin a goodbye hug and set him on the patio.
I didn't think anything about her leaving him out. I should have put him back in her inventory! I forgot what happens next and I was not ready for this phase of the IF play.
The bus broke down before making it to the school. Faith had to walk the rest of the way.
Into the school RH she went. There are two other townie girls in Lost Cove. No boys her age. And there's one teen girl and 2 teen boys. Not counting service sims. Faith met both girls the first day. One friend came home with her.
The minute Faith got home and stepped into the house, the game camera zoomed up to the patio door being opened. Paladin marched in like he owned the place. Darn!

The IF is another reason I didn't want a second Faraz child. They already have one! He'll be a handful himself. I wanted to have a potion ready for him before he showed up, or at least have that process started.
Bebhinn was wondering who Faith was chatting with! It sure wasn't the visiting friend doing homework at the table.
Faith tried to do her own homework three times, and that annoying doll interrupted her each time.
Finally Faith got her work done and Paladin came over to ask for a pillow fight.
I checked Paladin's stats to make sure he wasn't going to cause other problems, but he was ok. He's a Pisces, just like Faith, and he has the Daredevil trait like Faith's father. He's also Athletic and has a Good Sense of Humor.
As soon as I can make him alive, they'll be best buddies. Right now, he's more a nuisance than anything else!
Look at the expression on Emad's face when he comes down the stairs and sees Faith pillow fighting with herself! The invisible doll is sort of fun at times. In small doses.
The kids went up to the playroom for a little while, then it was time for bed. Faith's schoolmate went home.
Faith checked under the bed for monsters. After seeing her live IF doll, who knows what else is around! Luckily the room was clear of creepy things.
Faith was exhausted and went right to sleep. Paladin sat in little doll form close by.
But first thing when Faith got up, he was there telling stories and jokes and laughing over gossip.
This is how I have Faith's room decorated at the moment. I needed bunk beds because I'm hoping to make Paladin real ASAP so I can control him. I suppose they can sleep in the same bedroom as children. Or I may put him in the downstairs part of the small tower, not much room there though.
Faith has a toy oven and a dance bar. I also bought her a Frisbee, laptop, and Multitab.
I gave Faith a second formal outfit. I wanted her to have a kimono. I also found a perfect hairstyle to go with it. I think she looks darling. Hot Pink is her favorite color.
Here's the back showing her fan tucked into the sash.

03-02. Faith Enters Childhood

Faith had learned all her toddler skills. She also finished the last of her skill books while with Leilani, her favorite babysitter. Bebhinn had another day off, so I decided it was time to age Faith to girlhood.
Just the family celebrated her birthday. Luna joined the party.
Goodbye little one.
Here's Faith right after aging. I gave her the Excitable trait. She already had Artistic and Perceptive. I would take her into Stylist for a wardrobe change after the cake was eaten.
The first time the family were able to sit together at the same table.
My genie girl! She already has powers. Faith made the house sparkly clean. Daddy's little helper.
Faith's new everyday outfit. I changed her hairstyle and eyebrows, but nothing to her face or body. She looks so much like her mom!
Athletics.
Formal wear. I want to give her a kimono too, but I'll do that later.
And outerwear. I gave her new clothes in the other categories, but didn't get screenshots.
One of the first things Faith did was preside over the royal court. I wonder who she learned that from?
Daddy and daughter autonomously sought each other out. They enjoyed getting to know one another better.
Faith. My first female genie. My first genie offspring. I love her!!

03-01 Ghost Girls

Emad needs a new Master Plot adventure. He's beginning to act like a bored house husband! After the Beckett wedding, Emad woke up with a wish to have a baby with Bebhinn.

No. Absolutely not!
Me: Don't give me that Evil-Eye look! You are NOT having another baby. Find something else to do!
His "something else to do" was to follow Bebhinn around. She had the day off, but that didn't stop her from Working From Home the minute she woke up.

Emad waited patiently beside her. He wanted to flirt. I finally took pity on him and made Bebhinn stop work.
After breakfast, Bebhinn chatted on the phone with a coworker while Emad--literally--hovered nearby to kiss her.
By that time, Faith was awake, so I had Emad feed her just as Bebhinn got out her portable office. I could tell it was going to be a long day! When Emad went outside to hug the horse, I knew I had to get him away from the house!
There were a couple of paparazzi between the Faraz property and the townie apartments. I remembered I needed two more female ghosts for the graveyard. Aha! A plan formed in my mind. And here's where Emad could help. I had him ensorcel the lady. He was more than happy to oblige!

Hearts popped up between the two. I'm sure Emad had his own ideas about what to do with the woman, but he was in for another disappointment. I sent him and his victim straight to the Ghastly Community Center Graveyard.
Emad quickly started chatting her up. But before he could switch to romance, I used NRaas to, uh, bring about her instant demise. By fire.
I retrieved her tombstone from the Mausoleum, engraved her epitaph, and spawned her ghost. I had Emad talk to her again to make sure she had "survived" the ordeal and wasn't glitched in any way.
Then I think it hit him that he'd lost his ensorceled lady. She was now a haunting spirit. ... She was dead!
But Emad is nothing if not daring, a true risk taker. He must have decided romancing a ghost would be a real thrill because he quickly queued up a Pick Up Line.

Oh for the love of ...!
Me: NO! Come with me, Emad. We have to find another useless paparazzi female.
It took a little NRaas searching, but I tracked down a ghost candidate in the public area of the apartment house. Perfect. Once again, Emad used his encorceling powers.
He liked this one too. More hearts. Or maybe the girls just liked him. Either way, he was eager to play. This time though, I teleported Emad and his victim to the graveyard, then finished her off before Emad got too friendly.
I chose death by meteor for this poor paparazzi. And I used the same process to check on her spirit-self. Emad was at the ready. He initiated a Flirt before I could stop him. But I promptly cut him off.
The ghost then went into the dungeon prison cell and took a shower. Trying to cool down, I suppose.
Emad figured out where the other ghost lady had gone and followed her down to the bar. He wanted to try that Pick Up Line again! I made him order a round of drinks instead.
Meanwhile the two ghosts found each other. It was not a happy encounter. Jealousy is an ugly thing!
Emad drowned his disappointment with a skill drink. Did he honestly think I was giving him permission to ensorcel women for his fun and games? ... Yes. He did.
Me: Put that skill drink to good use, Emad. Remember your wish to master athletics? Well, chin up, buddy!
When I finally let him go home, he was still confused. But he managed to come up with another wish.

Emad: Can I woohoo with Bebhinn?
Me: Of course, Emad. ... But NO baby!
