01-07. Fun Times at Dragon Tavern

I took a lot of screenshots during my recent game play in Dragon Valley. But there were 5 different goals I was working on: placing the Mages Guild and making sure the household was set, renovating and testing the tavern, seeing fairies cheat the claw machine, trying out the last AAS dress, and getting those Gnomes of the Darned.

These are screenshots of Sol and Crysie's other activities at the Dragon Tavern.

Rushing off to the tavern early that morning.
Karaoke singing. Both of them were terrible, but enthusiastic! I missed Emad's Natural Born Performer talent.
They tried some "sweet moves" during karaoke. At least they were having fun.
Sol has the Lucky trait, but when he first started gambling, he lost some money.
Crysie lost quite a bit at first. I found her kicking the machine. This One Armed Bandit was "cold."
Charlotte found townies to play with and had a good time howling to the music.
I had put an extra slot machine in the restroom area, and a townie was making good money on it. When he finally gave it up, I sent Sol over to try his luck. A hot machine! Meanwhile, Crysie went back to trying for gnomes.
The bartender was busy serving guests, mostly meals rather than drinks.
By the end of the day, Crysie and Sol were ... still terrible at karaoke!
As the tavern got more lively, I found Sol starting to slow dance with this girl. I think she asked him. But just as he got his arms around her, Crysie broke into his queue and canceled the dancing with a "Play Catch" action. Just keeping an eye on her boyfriend, that's all!
____

There was a dragon egg on the premises and I saw a townie talking to it. The hatching countdown started!
When I saw the egg was almost ready to hatch, I sent Crysie over to get the dragon when it arrived. But two townies got there before her. The policeman snatched the egg up before Crysie could get to it. "Hey!! Give that egg back!" ... I used NRaas DebugEnabler to reach into the policeman's inventory and retrieve the egg.
I had Crysie set the egg back out so it could hatch. It wouldn't hatch while in her inventory.
A purple dragon! The family only had a green dragon at home (Grail), so I was happy to see this little guy. We named it immediately so the townies wouldn't try to take him.
Its name is Perp (short for perpetrator). First, for its purple color. And second, because it was stolen twice before its hatching--once by a townie and once by Crysie!

01-06. More From the Night at Dragon Tavern

Here are a few random shots of my time in Dragon Valley.

A screenshot of the first floor of Sol and Crysie's house. They had just arrived back home after spending a full day at the Dragon Tavern.
They are back-to-nature types. Gardens, bees, chickens, clothes drying outdoors.
Sol had a wish to woohoo with Crysie in the fairy house. Granted!
Charlotte is well-loved by this family.
I caught sight of the DV wild horses, including mother and foal who look very much alike.
The unicorn made an appearance too.

01-05. A New Dress

Here is a simple update showing one more dress downloaded from All About Style. While I was in Dragon Valley, I wanted Crysie to have a new dress.

This is the third sheer-skirted dress I downloaded from AAS. It's a very girly, short skirt style.

01-04. Gnomes of the Darned

I checked the gnome list on Sims Wikia and realized the only gnome I hadn't seen in game was the Gnome of the Darned. I was determined to get one while it was still on my mind. I also wanted to have one of my fairy sims cheat the claw machine. I had a fairy couple in Dragon Valley, and that was where I started.

Unfortunately I didn't find any claw machines already in my DV game. So I fixed up the Dragon Tavern and added one there. I hadn't done a thing to that place, and renovation took some time.

This is the Dragon Tavern. I designated it a hangout, but I added a pro bar too.
The only things I did to the outside was add lighting, cattails around the well, and a small rock stereo.
I removed some of the tables so I could put in a karaoke player. I also changed the bathrooms in order to fit in more arcade and gambling machines. Also added a toy box and pet bowl.
I took out some extra bookcases and chairs to open up more space.
Then before sunrise, I woke up the family and sent them off to the new Dragon Tavern: Crysie, Sol, and their dog Charlotte. (Charlotte was created by Charlottesmom to honor her RL dog.)
While one fairy worked the claw machine, the other tested out other activities. Charlotte followed each one around. I also put down a chew toy for her.
Getting the Ghosts Gnomes took all day! Crysie and Sol won lots of teddy bears of various types ...
And cut gems (which looked like ore in the machine) ...
All kinds of toys, which I donated to the Tavern's toybox--after all, my fairies were cheating the machine and winning big at gambling.
Money bags! I did have Sol and Crysie play the usual way once in a while because I was having no luck getting those gnomes as of yet.
Then finally, Crysie pulled out a Gnome of the Darned!!
Soon after, Sol got one too.
In fact, Sol won two gnomes.
It was around midnight by then, and everyone was tired, so we called it a day. But we came home richer and carrying three Gnomes of the Darned. They were all the same color though. I named them Deadhead, Dastard, and Dodo. Now we'll see what they actually do for us.
We also took home a new baby dragon who Crysie named Perp. ... But that's another story.

01-03. A Mages Guild for Dragon Valley

I placed a new household and home in Dragon Valley: the Mages Guild by thuggishsplicer. This is a recreation of the Elder Scrolls Oblivion Mages Guild in Leyawiin.

I put the house on an empty lot by the river. It was dawn, so it's a little dark. All the residents showed up fine.
The back view.
First floor.
Second floor.
The two teenage witches.

The YA witch.

The YA werewolf.

The elder fairy.

The familiar (cat).
__________

One of the family members, Adrian Black, already existed in Dragon Valley (but as a YA, not a teen). I decided to change the teen Adrian's name so he'd be unique. I used the Fantasy Name Generators site to find an Altmer/High Elf name, and chose Arainn Caimos. Not sure how lore-friendly that is, but it sounded good!

I also changed the original Dragon Valley YA Adrian's personality, his looks, and clothes so the two would be different individuals in my world.

Here's the DV Adrian Black after I tweaked his looks.
And here is Arainn Caimos. The only thing I changed about this Mages Guild member was his name.
