02-19. A Series of Randomness - Part 1

One day the gardeners glitched up and didn't come. I saw an ErrorTrap message about them. So Gran had to take over the gardening. It was an all-day task!
I finally sent Mayra and Charlie down to help with watering. I wanted Gran to do all the harvesting though because she's in the Gardening Career.
While Charlie and Mayra exercised, I thought Inspector Erle should do a workout too. He did have a few points in Athletics, so that was good.
Wow! Looking great there, Inspector!
Laddie asked Mayra to play chase with him.
I try to remember to have Ghillie the Dragon summon treasure each day. Here, Charlie collected a rainbow gem!
Charlie just clowning around.
You gotta love this guy's fun outlook on life!
_____
The gardeners showed up the next day. No glitches.

Laddie decided to test his boundaries--with the postal worker as prey!

Sorry, Laddie, but we probably shouldn't let you have that kind of fun!
How about a nice game of tug-of-war instead?
Gran and Hamish.
Poor Inspector Gray was sore and still fatigued from his workout the night before. Mayra gave him a Deep Tissue massage and that relieved his pain!
_____
Charlie playing hopscotch.
Gran flipping pancakes.
Mayra changing Hamish's dirty diaper.
Inspector Gray got a promotion and earned a case board.
Inspector Gray was in the middle of working a new case.

02-18. Revenge of the Clown: Phase 3

Charlie had heard about the alien zombie Cexavu loose in Mountain Lake. He suspected that Gran Caran had something to do with the alien's appearance.

Charlie was concerned that the villagers could be in danger. The zombie was lurking in parks and local hangouts.
Cexavu was even trying to attack the youth of the town! Good thing he wasn't ever successful. He seemed to get painful headaches any time he tried to bite a victim.
But no plant was safe from his veracious appetite! Well, except for the potted, rubber plants. Those decorous items truly confused Cexavu.
Despite the the failed zombie attacks, Charlie was afraid the village couldn't count on Cexavu's continued bad luck. The alien zombie was relentless, hobbling quickly from one hot spot to another!
_____
Charlie spoke to Gran. Should they set out armed pea shooters around town? Gran sighed and shook her head.

Gran: Charles, go beard the alien in his lair. Wait for me there. I'll bring a Purge elixir and one last potion to douse the scoundrel with, as a warning to play nice or leave!
So Charlie came face to face once more with the alien who had abducted him and performed fertility experiments! How things had changed. The alien, now a zombie, was more pitiful than powerful.
Charlie could easily confront this enemy. After all, he'd already challenged criminals, the Grim Reaper, and even Gran Caran ... and survived!
Finally the gypsy herself showed up. She wasted no time, but threw her Purge cure at Cexavu.
The zombie tried to fight back!
But he soon lost all anger. A confused alien stood before them.
Gran: Use the second potion, Charles. Now!
In a strange haze of smoke, a totally new alien incarnation materialized!
And despite the familiar clownish nature, Charlie understood at once that there was something tragic about this joker! Deeply, deeply tragic. Such sadness!
Charlie couldn't help but cry. Poor, poor alien clown! Charlie never knew clowns could be so unhappy.
Gran: Let this all be a warning, Cexavu! You are not the only one around here with power! No more bullying! Learn from suffering and trials, and maybe one day, you can become a better member of the sim race!

Cexavu: I come in peace! I promise!
_____
As Gran and Charlie left Cexavu to his own devices, the tragic alien opened up his laptop in search of a friend.
Unfortunately for him, the computer shorted out immediately. There would be no dating site for Cexavu tonight!
But the Maker took pity on his lonely state and used NRaas magic to repair the device. Use it wisely, Cexavu!
_____

Behind the Scenes: The Maker Speaks

I couldn't find a Tragic Clown elixir at the store, so Charlie actually threw a Procreation elixir at Cexavu. And then I used NRaas to give him the Tragic Clown Moodlet.

But after having the Procreation elixir tossed at him, not only did Cexavu and Charlie become instant Friends, Cexavu gained the temporary "A Twinkle in the Eye" moodlet, which increases the possibility of twins and triplets!

For a brief moment, I considered giving Cexavu the Unexpected Weight Gain moodlet as well. But I just couldn't bring myself to do that to innocent babies. ... Imagine Cexavu as a father!

02-17. Revenge of the Clown: Phase 2

Granesa was concerned about Charlie's experience with the alien being. There had been enough problems in Mountain Lake. People claiming to have seen werewolves and vampires. Ghosts. And now UFOs. Someone had to put a stop to this madness!

Granesa headed to her wagon to search her incantations and recipes. She'd heard that the alien Cexavu had actually moved into the village. Granesa needed to disable the creature's power.
Her expertise was in Purges, but she could brew up a good Putrefactor if needed. She'd done it before. Sometimes you had to fight dirty!
With the potion bottled, Granesa arrived at the alien's home before he'd returned from his nightly abductions of villagers. She snuck inside and hid herself.
When the creature appeared she immediately tossed the elixir at him and watched with satisfaction as the putrefaction set in. The process took only seconds!
With the alien's powers squelched and his mental capacity stunted, he would not be a problem any longer. Cexavu was permanently zombified! Granesa knew that only one drive consumed him now. Plants!
Granesa stepped aside as the alien zombie approached. Anyone who couldn't outrun a zombie just wasn't paying attention! She turned away and walked towards the back door.
_____
But Granesa was wrong about one thing. Zombies wanted more than plants. They also craved brains! And they'd do anything to get them. Zombies fought an insatiable hunger for brains!
Plants might relieve the hunger, but only brains satisfied the zombie. Granesa had unsuspectingly made herself Cexavu's first victim. And he was just cunning enough to stop her escape.
As Granesa stepped around the junk car in the yard, she heard a growl behind her. Taken off guard, she jumped in surprise! It was the alien zombie, and he didn't look happy.
But Granesa had never been afraid of nightmares. She merely laughed in Cexavu's face.
That is, until the creature's growl became fiercer. He lunged while Granesa quickly dodged his attack!
But his violence ended abruptly. Suddenly, Cexavu clutched his head and cried in pain. It was as if he was being restrained by an invisible force. Did his agony have anything to do with the panel on the back of his head?
Granesa didn't stick around to find out. She left the zombie howling and angry.
_____
Later that day, the alien zombie, seeking nourishment, walked the streets of Mountain Lake. He was weak. Hungry.
But brains were not easy to come by. No one seemed threatened by Cexavu. They thought his menace was a joke.
Plants would have to do for now. But when his strength returned, then Cexavu would get those brains! He just wished he knew how.
Between his fear, his forgetfulness, bad luck and blunders, Cexavu wasn't up to his old standards. Good thing he still had his uniform. Cexavu wouldn't be caught dead streaking naked through the park!

02-16. Revenge of the Clown: Phase 1

I tracked down the alien who experimented on Charlie. Phase 1 of Alien Counter-Abduction has begun!

Into CAS you go, Cexavu. Let's see what modifications I need to make.

A new hairdo with a touch of tech. Don't worry about the panel clamped to the back of your head. It's just a monitoring device. Trust me!

And while I'm adjusting the "monitor," let's give you a Lifetime Wish to work towards. With good supporting traits, Super Popular should be a cinch. (Snicker)
Absent Minded: You can't always rely on advanced intelligence, now can you?
Coward: Not so brave without your high tech gadgetry, are you?
Loser: It's not called "revenge" for nothing.
Never Nude: Because the alternative is just too disturbing to contemplate!
Unlucky: And speaking of never getting any ...

Now for a nice new wardrobe. I think you're going to like these choices.

Everyday, Formal, and Outdoor Wear. It's really you, Cexavu. Tried and true.
Athletics. Dashing!
Swimwear. Splashing!
Sleepwear. Flashing!
_____
And here's your new home on earth! How exciting. You've been given the Lost Cove Aftermath House. Whoopee!
Just look at that open floor plan!
And the amenities, Cexavu. You have it all!
An upscale neighborhood too. Deserted mill, abandoned house, and a friendly crime boss living just next door!
I even included a bonus. Fix it and you have wheels. Busy hands are happy hands!
_____
And I also arranged a part time job for you, Cexavu: Alien Test Subject at the Science Lab. You start out as an Associate Probe Tester. But this time, you won't be doing the probing; you'll be receiving it!
_____

And yet, after all that, except for his cowardly fear of the dark, Cexavu was thrilled to be a Mountain Lake resident. He is a Sim after all!
Hang on to your fear, Cexavu. This is only Phase 1. Now that you're easily accessible and not hiding in your spaceship, well, who knows what Phase 2 will bring?
