Well, I went back to the save before they'd left Wild West. I had to use NRaas to find the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was messed up beyond repair, unusable. Roy had to sell it. Sorry Roy, I tried to fix Roaring Riley, but he was a goner.
While I was back in WW, I decided to check something else out. Originally, on the gondola canal, I had made the bridge tower 2 stories high because I didn't know if the gondola would fit under just 1 story. I added a lower floor walkway and it worked!
Now sims don't have to climb all the way to the top dining area to get across the bridge.
And the boat goes under the tower without an issue.
Sims can still climb to the top of the bridge for refreshments.
And now they can relax in rocking chairs in the walkway too.
I also remembered how to get couples romantic while in the gondola. You have to click on the boat, not the sims.
Orlando the Gondolier loves his new job! ...At Holly's request, he stopped the boat--right out in the open. That blanket doesn't hide what those two were doing, especially with all the noise they were making.

After gathering up all their stuff, packing up personal inventory, and hoping for the best, I split the household up. This family had been through a lot together, and I was getting nostalgic preparing for the move.
When I got to Wild West, I had to find a good place for Roy, Holly, and Riley. The game didn't give them much money, but the family had all been millionaires. I used NRaas and freerealestate to split funds up equitably, leaving Clyde's household with less money and Roy's with their fair share.
I wanted to put their home down on the scenic lot by the casino, but the game bin didn't have a house that really fit the area. I needed something a little more flashy--but classic--to match the casino. So I placed the Olympian Physique Gym on the lot and converted it to a residence. I still need to do some more tweaking on the roof. I didn't like the original, so I changed some of it.
I made the roofing red to match the casino and pier barn nearby. The house looks more Louisiana than Arizona, I guess, but oh well. I wanted something roomy and upscale. And I've always thought this gym had potential.
The view from the manor looking across the water. Still a lot of landscaping to be done, but there's room for a horse.
The view towards the city. The lot is fairly close to the more modern part of town.
I gutted the insides of the "gym" and added basic necessities. I'll gradually decorate and furnish the place. Right now, funds are still limited even with cheat helps. I didn't want to give them too much money.
I took out the indoor pool and changed the public bathrooms to two smaller ones, one with a door to the outside. I made a country-style kitchen with dining combined. I'll build a separate dining room over in the main area at some point.
I put in three bedrooms and a simple bath on this level. The office area will be a nursery someday. I want Holly to have a baby.
I left some things from the gym on the middle balcony area. It's mainly recreational here.
The little room on top will be Holly's alchemy nook. She had been in the Fortune Teller's career, but I'm going to switch her over to self-employed Alchemy. If she's going to continue toadifying people, she needs to learn to make potent cure elixirs. Roy is still a Sports Legend, level 10 in his career. I'll leave him there. They need the money!
I love the outdoor pool in this venue. I added two diving boards after taking this screenshot--and two more sets of stairs leading down from the pool patio to the yard.
When they moved, they all lost their wishes. Darn! They had some good ones about their wedding. They'll need to meet people and make friends if they're going to have bachelor/bachelorette parties, a public wedding and reception. I'm also going to give Roy a Clean Slate reward. I don't have much hope that he'll stay "clean," but we'll give him a chance. Holly adores him.
