Here's how it all went down. It was all Bonehilda's fault. I opened my game and found her lusting after the nectar on the boys' night stand.
And then I heard ominous sneaky music and realized we had a burglar!
Bradley was the first to respond, but even though he's a Daredevil, he was not going to fight. Instead, the crazy raccoon showed up and broke into his queue for a game of Chase.
It took awhile for the others to wake up, and Bonehilda was no help at all. She was too hyped up about getting more nectar.
The burglar just stood there--forever. The police never showed up. Seven of the boys ran outside and kept yelling and dancing around. It could have gone on all night! The burglar was feeling pretty sure of himself because no one would take him on. Look at him flexing his muscles!
Chris is a Heavy Sleeper and stayed in bed. As you can see, he had more important things on his mind! ... I finally just reset the burglar.
This is what Bonehilda is supposed to do: Fight the Burglar! But mine is too much of a lush!
The burglar settled it! Bonehilda needed to be medevacked off the island for intensive rehab. ... I wanted a plumbot to take her place. Except, I couldn't get one in my household!
When I realized that, I checked my NRaas settings. They looked ok. I then tried to add a sim through Edit Town. It didn't work, so installed Portrait Panel and did a workaround for the plumbot.
First, there was no plumbot in the world to just add to the household, so I had to go into another world and create a plumbot, split him from that family and save him to the library. Then I quit the game and opened up my Island save. I still couldn't add the bot through Edit Town because I didn't have all the necessary mods, so I had to put down another residential lot, place the bot there, THEN add him to the household. Whew!!
This is Dromio running to the castle.
I named him after the Dromio bondservant twins from Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.
He had all his chips in his inventory, so he installed his own traits. I didn't give him anything that would change my challenge. I just wanted a cleaning and repairing servant. Someone with a good attitude too.
Dromio's trait chips: Competent Cleaner, Handibot, Efficient, Solar Powered, Limitless Learning, Mood Adjuster, Sense of Humor. (NO gardening, NO cooking, NO angler.)
I could have lived without a plumbot, but I had to figure out how to add sims to my family. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to add my ghost ladies either. That was my real fear. Anyway, I have a plumbot and I learned a way to add the women when they're ready to join the household.
Dromio's been great! He's already upgraded several things. He doesn't cook though. The guys need to do that themselves for the challenge.
Besides upgrading, Dromio cleaned the house and repaired a clogged toilet his first day.
Bradley and Dromio chatted, and Dromio autonomously used a Happy Beam on him (Mood Adjuster trait). Bradley received a +40 Happiness Moodlet from the beam!
Dromio also initiated a Pillow Fight! What a fun guy!
Dromio is wearing sackcloth and plaid. He's not a total peasant, you know! He has style.
