I started a new game challenge using mycami21's Boddy Mansion, the Clue House characters, and Butler Didit. Later I also added her Inspector Gray sim.
I went looking for a new custom world to use with Boddy Mansion. I was ready to try something different. I found Rflong7's Mountain Lake world:
I prefer playing in rural worlds rather than big cities, so I thought Mountain Lake would fit my style of play and the Clue household perfectly!
I had to fix a RH first. Rflong7 had accidentally put down a school where the Hospital/Science RH was supposed to go and said it needed to be replaced. So I got rid of the larger school building and rearranged landscaping to put in a hospital. I decided not to use a combo RH since they sometimes cause issues.

There wasn't much room left, but instead of a RH rug, I wanted to try out a Lunar Lakes portal for the school. I have recolorable versions of all the portals (and extra ones too), so I retextured the portal exterior and enclosed it in a small building with arches for access.

This is the first time I've tried the portals in another world outside LL, but I thought a portal to an enclosed school would be fun.

I discovered a beautiful lot with a view of the lake for the mansion. It's 30x45, so I have a little space on either side of the 30x30 mansion to do some landscaping. The day started out with fog on the water.

Here's a view of the back of the mansion from the lake.

Welcome to the manor!

Please, make yourselves at home.

Get to know one another.

Have fun!

Explore.

The manor is yours to enjoy.
(Since there was room, I added a side door and put the trash can here instead of in front. The sims will still need to discover the secret doors though to make this door really useful.)

Boddy mansion has several mysteries to solve!

And the library cases contain many rare books waiting to be read.

I'm sure everyone will get along just fine.

A word of warning though: Beware of Llamas bearing gifts!

Mountain Lake by Rflong7.A hidden lake high in the Mountains. Sweet water, cool breezes, and an Asylum on a hill.... How will it affect the little town now that the Insane Sims are free? Will havoc rule the day? I built Mountain Lake to play the Asylum Challenge and it grew from there.
