I've divided most of the basement into rooms, but still have more furnishing to do. The purple and blue rooms will be bedrooms for children and teens. The rec room will have a small snack area with fridge, microwave and juice bar; a ping pong table; a TV/video game lounge; piano, drums and guitar platform; dance area; and maybe a roulette table.
This is the first time the boys have been in a hot tub. Dromio is still busy upgrading the electronics to unbreakable.
I finished the study.
And the main bath.
This will be a children's play room. Jeremy has the handy trait and had a wish to upgrade things. He's working in the kids' bath while Steven used the all-in-one after gardening.
A few of the guys are just a sliver away from level 3 in Martial Arts, so I'm having them work on that while taking turns in the hot tub. Trevor is almost to level 9 in Cooking too! Ambrosia-making is getting closer.

The other house I'm working on is here. I placed a large lot connected to the main island, creating a peninsula. Then I added a small building, which I've gutted. I plan to enlarge and convert that into a lighthouse dwelling. The small tower will be expanded into the lighthouse beacon.

I worked on the lighthouse this evening. I decided the lighthouse itself should sit on a cliff, so I separated it from the main house building. I haven't furnished it yet, but it's built.
I took several screenshots. I love lighthouses!
There are three floors that look like this. Unfurnished right now.
The fourth floor is the control room. I don't know exactly how it works, but this is where the keeper maintains the light. There's a door leading out to the widow's walk too.
The top floor is the light room and isn't accessible to sims. Only the keeper knows how to get up here. I used MOO to combine an end table and the moon globe for the light. An invisible fog emitter sits on top of the end table and is set to create the moving light effect.
Here is what the lighthouse looks like during the day. These last screenshots were taken in build mode.
You can see the blue fog emitter on the top floor in the following 2 pics.
