03-14. Building and Decorating

After 5 CTDs, I finally got to a place I could call "finished" with the new house furnishings. I didn't even attempt to add anything to the yard. That can wait until the snow storm is over. I sent the couples to check things out and gave them free rein for the most part. The lot is still designated public until I move my sims in. I'll share some overview screenshots right now.

I expanded the bottom floor, but just on the right side. I'll do something on the left later.
The back deck has a few children's items on it. I'll be adding a treehouse and sandbox to the yard too.
The ground floor. Open space with a few half-wall dividers.
I still have to put the regular stove in. It'll go beside the oriental grill.

The den and bath are separate rooms from the living, dining, and spa areas.
Here's an overview of the second floor, which contains two main bedrooms, a small nursery and a play room. Doors lead out to the decks.
The 3rd floor has another large bedroom and a dorm bedroom.
The lighthouse ground floor. The boys fought over who would use the whiteboard first.
Grizelda came over to paint.
A small gym on the second floor of the lighthouse.
I told Sophia to climb the pole. I wanted to make sure it worked. Trevor and Amika came over by themselves.
The 3rd floor has a small reading area, magic cauldron, and a telescope.
Chris loved the cauldron. He found it on his own and used it 3 or 4 times.
The control room doesn't have anything for sims to use right now. I may change that later.

Meanwhile, back at the castle. I also made a small basement under the separate bedroom building. I put in a huge TV and created a theater-style room, complete with popcorn. The guys only had a small TV in this house, so I rewarded them.
I found Dromio trying out the video game console.
Upstairs, Beowulf was making himself at home on Jeremy's bed.
