04-03. The Castle's First Wedding

Pre-wedding extras:

Aaron and Jacquelin got wishes to read pregnancy books. They had time to read one each on their MultiTabs.

Jacquelin wished to eat a grilled cheese sandwich. Aaron fixed her one and she ate it after the bachelor party.

There's no spa on the island, but Jacquelin took a relaxing bubble bath before the wedding ceremony.

The Ceremony

No worse for wear after the bachelor party, Jeremy was the first guest to arrive for the wedding.

While waiting for the other guests, Daryl asked Jacquelin to dance. Poor guy still hasn't gotten his ghost girl resurrected. I noticed Chris and Charlotte were still close. She arrived with him, not Jeremy.

Finally, after an hour or two, Aaron asked Jacquelin if she was ready to start the ceremony.

Dromio sat down here to watch the wedding. I'm not sure now he managed to see through castle walls, but there you go--sim logic.

I've had "shotgun" weddings before, but I think this is the first time I've had a sim this far along in her pregnancy for a ceremony.

The lawn arrangement was simple because there wasn't a lot of extra space to work with. I had to take the tent gazebo out to make room.

The couple exchanged rings and said their vows.

And they became Mr and Mrs Chamberlin-Clark.

The wedding kiss.

The audience cheered and cried! Unfortunately, Grizelda got reset for some reason and missed the wedding, but everyone else was there--somewhere.

Jacquelin waddled back down the aisle.

The Reception

It was time to cut the cake.

Surprisingly enough, there was plenty to go around. Dromio tried to put leftovers away, but I made him fish in the wishing well instead.

After cake, Jeremy managed to ask Jacquelin to dance before Aaron got his chance!

But I broke that up and told Aaron to give Jacquelin a massage. Her back was killing her.

After the massage, Aaron and Jacquelin had their wedding dance.

Then all hell broke loose! Charlotte made some kind of serious flirt move on Guy. He rejected her, but almost everyone else got mad. Friendships were broken because of this. Aaron got the Lost Friend moodlet and a Witnessed Betrayal moodlet.

I'm not sure what went on because it was Chris, not Jeremy, who confronted Charlotte! Jeremy was thinking about other things.

Meanwhile Guy grabbed a guitar and got the hell out of Dodge!

And then ... in the middle of Chris and Charlottes' dramatic scene, Jacquelin goes into labor!

Jacquelin: Arrrgh! Too many people. Too much excitement. Aaron, DO something!
Aaron: Uh, where's my bass.
