I couldn't postpone it any longer. It was time to split the household up again AND switch families. So, I made sure the girls all had MultiTabs. I also gave them kicky bags to fight off the nerdiness. (Kicky bags promote Rebel influence.) Then I sent them to City Hall to register as NRaas Unemployed (self-employed) with $100/day stipends. I also rewarded them with Simmunity. Their wardrobe changes would have to wait. That will take me ages to do!
Just before splitting the castle group, Guy and Amika received Eternally Faithful reputations. So now, I have 3 Faithful couples. (Trevor/Grizelda and Jeremy/Charlotte are the other two.)
I gave gave Dromio a MultiTab and a sprite pet named Hamlet. He immediately took Hamlet out for a chat.
This is why the girls got kicky bags. They'd found the Nerd game console I'd finally let the Castle folks have.
I decided I should make a few changes to the TV room. The Castle would need a play area at some point, so I took out one row of sofas and added items for children.
Then it was time. Trevor, Chris, Jeremy, Sophia, Grizelda, Beowulf, and Charlotte became the new Lightkeepers household. The Castle family would be Guy, Amika, Aaron, Jacquelin, and Dromio. I settled things at the castle, made the necessary changes in SP Caste settings, then switched over to play the Lightkeepers as my active family.
The first thing the Castle sims did was hold a protest at the library! (Daryl from Inn Haven joined the protest while Charlotte played basketball and ignored them all.) Why the rant about wanting to fish? Well not sure, but Trevor had taken all the death fish out of their fridge when he left. Maybe they were mad about that!
Dromio showed up to protest too!
Soon after that, I got my first NRaas SP notice. I choked on my coffee and had a coughing fit. Jacqueline was pregnant with Aaron's baby! Ok sure, I knew something like this might happen, but within a couple of hours of leaving them alone? Now I needed to go back and add a nursery to the castle, along with that play room. They didn't even get engaged first!
Remember when I posted this pic of Jacquelin as a ghost? I wrote that she was obviously dreaming of being Queen of the Castle. Well, it looks like her and Aaron's Ambitious traits kicked in at once! Jacquelin will be birthing the Castle's Heir Apparent.
Thus ends my first day of rotational play. What will the second dawn bring?
