01-15. The Heady Lure of Fame

Just before his first show, Emad had loosened up by playing for tips at the diner hangout. He's a level 8 Acrobat and almost level 9 after his gig.

Emad started using face paint with his costume. Red and black, his favored colors.

After Emad's performance, Archie and Tyron were inspired to sing karaoke together. What a pair!

Bebhinn loved them, but others had their doubts. I thought they were hysterical myself.

Emad wondered if he could make some money off them--headline the two as a comedy team. The Bunglers?

On second thought ... maybe not!

Just after that, I caught Emad doing a Smooth Recovery with Mikel. Not sure what he was apologizing for this time. Maybe The Bunglers?

Lynne Ray threw a party following the night of Emad's performance. The usual gang was there. 

Unfortunately, Emad switched from friendly interactions with Lynne to romantic. He asked her to Watch the Stars with him. Everyone disapproved, especially Bebhinn!

Even though Lynne had refused Emad's advances, Bebhinn was not happy with her. Rumors about Emad and Lynne could hurt her political career!

Emad tried to distract Bebhinn by scaring her. It didn't go over so well, of course. I suggested another tactic.

So he serenaded her with a romantic rendition of Under The Hot Desert Sun. That did the trick!

Everybody settled down then. Natalia talked to Archie about sharks. Bebhinn danced with Emad, and Lynne tried to fix macaroni and cheese for the group.

The mac and cheese burned, so Emad summoned a meaty calzone and the evening ended on a positive note!
