01-18. The Doctor and The Candy Striper

There were no doctors serving in the Lost Cove Dispensary, so I went looking for potential townie makeovers. By chance, I saw these two fairly decent looking sims together at the bookstore and hobby shop.

The guy was the hobby clerk, Jorge Dennison. He was actually a jock, not a nerd.

The girl was a dancer named Candy Bar. What she was doing at the bookstore, I have no idea.

Well, both these two were about to get the biggest breaks of their lives. New identities and new callings! Jorge would become George Robinson, 5th level Resident Doctor in the medical field. And Candy would become Caren Bond, a part time medical Candy Striper (NRaas careers).

This is their new townhouse. I found it at MTS, Kenway Street Mini Lot. I did some renovating and placed the house next to the Dispensary Hospital. The Doctor is In!

I used NRaas to make George and Caren boyfriend and girlfriend. And their first interactions were romantic. Although I must say, their flirting wasn't exactly heated.

Caren: I love our new home!
George: Yah, the chair looks brand new.

George: I know I'm Unflirty and we've never talked before, but ... shall we?
Caren: Hmm, very nice, George. You're not geeky at all!

The couple's makeover included pudding-removal and trait changes. I also gave them the same zodiac sign so they'd be compatible. They're both Leo.

Caren is a young adult. She's Friendly, Childish, Never Nude, and has a Good Sense of Humor. She's also a Diva. Her lifetime wish is to be Super Popular. ... Ok, so she's a little ditsy. What do you expect from someone who used to call herself Candy Bar?

George is an adult. He's Unflirty and Clumsy. He's also a Genius and a Snob, but like Caren, he does have a Good Sense of Humor. How else could he get along with her? His lifetime wish is to live in the Lap of Luxury.

Emad and Bebhinn visited the new arrivals, but Jennifer Martinez was already there welcoming the couple. A big Flirt herself, Jennifer was immediately caught flirting with the Doc, so she retreated to the couch.

Caren: What do you do for fun around here?
Emad: We have a pool and ...

Bebhinn: So you used to sell comic books?
George: That's how I was putting myself through medical school.

Bebhinn didn't appreciate George's political views.

Then Emad wanted to discuss his mastermind plot for Lost Cove. George couldn't have cared less!

When he found out Emad was an entertainer, well, Clumsy and Natural Born Performers just don't get along.

George: I suddenly found myself with a high paying career, a new house, and a girlfriend!
Emad: Things like that happen in Lost Cove all the time. I'm beginning to wonder about this place.

Jennifer: I bet if I treat George just right, he'll give me a discount on my medications. What do you think?
Bebhinn: I think you better stay away from other women's men, that's what I think!

Unfortunately, Jennifer didn't take Bebhinn's advice. The next thing I knew, she had flirted with Emad. And eagle-eye Bebhinn saw it. She blamed Emad, of course. He must have encouraged the tramp!

Bebhinn really is the jealous type, and now she was mad at Emad again. I made him apologize.

Emad: Bebby! I didn't say a word to Jennifer, I swear!
Bebhinn: All right, Emad, but I want to go home now. I've had enough.

And this is the new hobby shop clerk who took George's place. He will be keeping his current job. It suits him.
