Bebhinn was now Vice-President of Lost Cove. With her Ambitious and Workaholic traits, she appeared to be shooting straight to the top. But Bebhinn was losing sight of her goal. Her past weighed too heavily on her mind.
Bebhinn: Emad, I can't get my father's murder out of my head! He's still haunting me, even here. You promised you'd make all that right again. I want you to do something for me.
Emad: Anything you say, Bebhinn. I made a mistake in Rinn Fada. I admit it. And I never meant to involve you.
Bebhinn: Well, I WAS involved. You may have arranged father's death, but I didn't stop it. I watched the murder of my own father! The blame is both ours now. ... And I can't forget the one who killed him. Every time I see that horrid Antwon May, my blood runs cold! He has to go, Emad.
Bebhinn: You have to get rid of him. I want him dead, Emad. Dead!
Emad: You're asking me to kill the man?
Bebhinn: Do it, Emad. Quickly. I can't stand looking at him anymore! He brings me nightmares.
Emad: Very well, Bebby. For you, I will do this.
Emad: You're asking me to kill the man?
Bebhinn: Do it, Emad. Quickly. I can't stand looking at him anymore! He brings me nightmares.
Emad: Very well, Bebby. For you, I will do this.

Killing May would be easy enough. Doing it without repercussions was another thing. His brother wasn't around to challenge him this time, and the other supernaturals in Lost Cove didn't worry him. But still, Emad needed to curb his own impulsive nature. He couldn't muck it up this time.
The next morning, he called a meeting of the Brethren to discuss their new role in Lost Cove. Antwon May and Tyron Nielson obeyed his summons. As usual though, Archie Bloom spaced out and didn't show.
Emad: I'm redefining our organization. The Brethren of the Woeful Countenance is finished. I can't stomach that crap! From now on, we're the Farazian Society. ... And no more brother nonsense either. We need women.
Antwon: But what about our vow of celibacy and our motto, If It's Fun, We Don't Do It ...
Emad: Forget that! Our new motto is We Have What You Want!
Tyron: Hmm, sounds good. Maybe it would work.
Emad: Of course it'll work! Satisfying desires is where it's at!
Tyron: I see where you're going with this. I'll create a website! We'll go viral.
Antwon: Are you nuts, Nielson? We're suppose to be an exclusive lodge!
Emad: Not any more. The Farazians will rule Lost Cove ... with my wife as reigning figurehead.
Later at the minions' home, May began to complain again. Emad was looking forward to silencing this loud mouth once and for all. He saw Bebhinn visibly shrink from May's temper and knew he needed to act fast.
Antwon: I'm sick of following someone else's orders! I deserve a larger role here! I KNOW things, remember? What if I decide to talk, eh? What then? I demand more respect.
Emad: You'll get what's coming to you, May. Tonight we'll talk. For now, just shut it!
Tyron: You need to keep an eye on May, Faraz. He's been acting crazy ever since we got here. Crazier than before. The guy's freaking out. He'll go off the deep end, I'm telling you.
__________
Nielson was right. May was attempting blackmail, and Emad wasn't going to stand for it. That evening, he watched another incident of Grim claiming a soul. This time Death came in the form of a tentacled creature under Grim's doorstep. Emad knew then what he'd do with Antwon May.
As promised, he met with May privately.
Emad: I need you to check out one of the smaller islands, May. It might be best to have a private hideout away from the general Farazian membership. Some place where you can set up headquarters for your new position.
Antwon: You think I'm a dummy? You're just trying to get me to do your dirty work again. No way! Not happening. I'll be calling the shots from now on, Faraz! And ... and this society will be the Mayans, not the Farazians!
Emad: Mayans, eh? I believe that one's been taken, May. Didn't go so well for them if I recall.
Emad: Mayans, eh? I believe that one's been taken, May. Didn't go so well for them if I recall.
Antwon: Well, this time it'll be different!
Emad: Oh, I don't think so ...
And when May turned his back, Emad ensorcelled him, putting the man under his direct control.
Emad: Oh, I don't think so ...
And when May turned his back, Emad ensorcelled him, putting the man under his direct control.
Emad: Now get on your aqua-sled and head out to sea. I'll join you and we'll continue our discussion there.
__________
May did as he was told while Emad entered the waters from a more secluded spot. He quickly shapeshifted into his water Djinn form and rushed after May. It felt good to stretch his limbs and rule the sea again. Just like returning to the stage in a way. But this would be a more deadly performance. Emad was looking forward to it.
Antwon May headed out to open waters. He felt isolated, the world around him strangely calm.
Until Emad suddenly launched himself out of the depths!
May didn't even have time to scream before Emad pulled him under.
Antwon May, late of Woeful Countenance, disappeared beneath the waves, boat and all.
His body was later found washed up on shore. Authorities just shook their heads at the man's foolishness. Going out in a boat after dark. Why, the waters around Lost Cove were filled with danger. Everyone knew that!
__________
May was laid to rest in the Ghastly graveyard, but his spirit hadn't found rest. His soul still floundered in unknown terror. He was caught in a nightmare all his own!
Bebhinn: He's really gone, isn't he? I knew I could count on you, darling. Thank you!
Emad: My pleasure, Bebby. The man will never bother you again.
