Bebhinn has achieved a milestone in her life. She's become the Leader of the Free World ... well, Leader of Lost Cove anyway. Reaching the 10th level of the Political career has given Bebhinn her lifetime wish.
In a totally different type of career, as a Showtime Acrobat, Emad has reached level 9 and will soon gain level 10.

But it was Emad's 2nd gig that was the real life-changing event for Emad and Bebhinn both. I didn't know it at the time--didn't find out until much later--but at some point between the beginning of this show and a short while later (21 real time minutes between separate saves), Emad and Bebhinn got divorced!!
I don't know how or why it happened. I discovered it the next morning when Bebhinn was talking to Emad. After the show, I did notice that Bebhinn had an option to "kiss and make up." Surprised to see that, I had her do so. And they seemed fine, but something serious (or a glitch) had happened without me knowing.

Poor Emad carried on with his show despite his divorce! Talk about a trouper. I guess the Show Must Go On!

I'll just share a few of his stunts. The reviews for the show were not quite as good as the first gig. Emad was off his game. Well, divorce will do that to a guy!

Now this is where the show began to fall below Emad's usual dazzling performance. His hair caught on fire! But no damage was done, just some embarrassment. Maybe this is when the divorce happened?
Emad continued the show, pulling his audience back in.
He finished with a new stunt: the Fiery Faceplant. Hmm. Sounds like a bad omen!

If I'd only known about the divorce ... I would have reloaded the pre-gig save. But I carried on, making a huge decision for these two that would be difficult to undo ...
