After the wedding, there was one more day to wait for the baby's arrival. I was anxious for everything to go all right, with no strange mix up. Only a few more things needed to be done ahead of time.
I converted the top tower room into a small nursery for now. I also decided not to influence the baby's gender. I'd just wait to see what they had. Sometimes I make the mother eat apples or watermelon, but I didn't this time. Too much other stuff going on anyway!
Once I wallpapered this little room, I wanted to start renovating the rest of the old house! The family has money to do more upgrading now.
I kept the colors fairly neutral until I found out if the baby was a girl or boy. But I did go kind of heavy on red and gold tones. I could always modify colors later though.
I didn't buy any toddler things yet. I wasn't sure how I should arrange the house for a toddler or child.
__________
The rest of Bebhinn's pregnancy went great. She got her baby books read and spent a lot of time in the rocking chair. No soccer!
Emad got more interested in the pregnancy. He read a baby book too.
He was also good about giving her massages, which really helped Bebhinn's sore back.
And lucky him because Bebhinn would turn around and give him massages too.
__________
Then around 4:30 am, the time came to go to the hospital. I've tried to have babies at home, but my sims always take off to the hospital on their own if I don't tell them to. Maybe you need a mod for home delivery. Not sure.
It was a long walk to the Dispensary. The road between the Faraz house and the hospital is torn up in the middle.
Most of the way is a cross country ramble. I didn't even attempt to have Bebhinn ride the horse.
Emad got to the Dispensary before Bebhinn did. He waited for a while.
Then he got bored and started playing in the leaves. He had to take a shower before Bebhinn arrived.
The baby was born the second Bebhinn went into the rabbit hole hospital. They had a little girl. I named her Faith because of the Eternally Faithful/Second Wedding thing--and because I'm trusting that her parents will be good to her. I also checked her family tree just to be sure! Emad was the father, no doubt about it.
Further genetic proof he was her dad was that Faith turned out to be a Genie! I noticed her blue motive meters (not green) just like her father's. I was so excited to see those! I pulled up her NRaas stats to check all her hidden traits and occult type. I was able to choose her two regular traits though. Faith is my very first female Genie!
Then it was time for the long hike back home.
__________
Once Faith was fed, I gave her a special baby blanket and top (CC I have installed).
Emad had a wish to snuggle Faith, so he spent some time with her.
There you go, Emad! Your baby wishes have been granted. Are you happy?
