Mikel was at the Ghastly Manor and I had Emad and Bebhinn invite him to the house when they went home. I'm still trying to build up relationships because friendships are slow in forming for these two, especially Emad.
I still didn't know whether Bebhinn was pregnant or not. My sims do not get morning sickness. They all have the Simmunity reward. But while Mikel was visiting, Bebhinn got wishes to eat spaghetti and visit the spa. Very suspicious. She also chatted with Mikel about babies.
Meanwhile, Emad turned on the fireplace and tossed some more WonderPetal herbs into the flames. I thought at the time, he hasn't fireproofed this yet. ... I really need to start listening to my inner voice!
Mikel left and I sent the couple to bed. But early the next morning, Bebhinn got up and rubbed her belly. She WAS pregnant! I rewarded her with more colorful patterns on her drab maternity clothes.

Emad seemed happy with the news ... in a subdued "But I'm only a Romantic Interest" sort of way.
