This is Elliot and Anabel's story. When I last left them, Anabel was going to talk Elliot into taking a vacation. When he got home that afternoon and Anabel sprang the news on him, he wasn't sure what was behind it all.
He knew she wanted to get away from Roaring Heights...but did she really want him with her too? Should he be worrying about losing her? He better go along and keep an eye on her.
Anabel made travel plans to go somewhere warm with lots of beaches: Sunlit Tides.
Anabel: It's a time-share condo, Elliot. And we have it all to ourselves!

Good thing they had room to bring their sailboat. They head off to the Sunlight Center hangout.
Elliot is still trying to work things out. A little liquid courage might help.
He decides to share his feelings.
Elliot: I've been thinking about how we're not married...are you upset about that?
Anabel: Hmm...
Uh oh!
One of the locals picks out a simple tune on the piano while the sun sets. The evening mellows.
Anabel buys a new modern swim suit and shows it off for the first time. She's looking swell!
Elliot decides to take action. He's been talking to a guy here at the center, and he knows a perfect spot to take Anabel.
Alone on top of a mountain, Elliot tries his hand at a bit of romance.
But Anabel's much better at that sort of thing! A kiss blown his way...
A wink and a smile...
Elliot steps in at the right moment.
To his relief, she accepts!
