And then they sail around the bend to check out the new pier I made.
The Hot Sands Pier is just beyond the original Hot Sands Beach, which doesn't reach into the water. The new Pier is a real "beach."
Anabel recognizes someone she knows from Roaring Heights! This tourist really looks out of place in ST. Both Elliot and Anabel have added a couple of casual outfits to their own wardrobes.
After visiting with some of the locals, Anabel does a little fishing and Elliot tries his luck at grilling hot dogs.
Ah hah! Another mermaid is spotted! Time to make her acquaintance.
Anabel catches some jelly fish, but Elliot manages to burn two plates of hot dogs. He's always worked too much overtime at the force and never spent enough time in the kitchen.
Anabel doesn't have high cooking skills either, but at least she doesn't burn hot dogs! She takes over the grill.
And Elliot naps on a bench. He's weak from hunger!
Anabel teases: I saw you lazing out on that bench!
As Elliot and Anabel finally leave the beach, a young would-be surfer tries out the wave machine.
Another stop before home though. Anabel was invited to a party. They arrive on time, but the host is already in bed and shooing the guests out of his room.
Everyone else was friendly and the two were having fun, but it was getting late. Anabel and Elliot are ready to get some sleep themselves.
