The two went out on the town to get reacquainted with their city. Anabel wanted to see Love and Truffles at the theater, which turned out to be a foreign film. She cried during all the romantic parts, but Elliot called them sappy and slept through half the show. Then Anabel started elbowing him in the ribs, said he was snoring! Hmm.
Elliot was getting pretty hungry by this time and got a wish to eat at a restaurant. And since Anabel was still a little miffed at him, he chose the swankiest joint in town. Turned out to be a great date after all.
The next day, Anabel realized she couldn't fit into her dance leotard. Her tummy had a little bulge! Elliot was running on the treadmill and didn't hear her first excited cry.
Later after work though, he helped rearrange furniture and set up a small nursery. Even the bot Sono got a new Nanny chip installed. This setup would do for now, but when Anabel started listing off all the things they'd need for a toddler, Elliot wondered where they'd find room for it all.
