Winter Day Under a Full Moon
Part 1 of 2
Cold Winter morning
Ice fog
The bots are up first. Zipha is working on charisma while 2-Rad studies his own brain...circuit board?
A visitor shows up. Jakob Ingberg.
Jakob: Hey guy! Whatcha doing?
2-Rad: Let's go upstairs and I'll show you. Hehe!
2-Rad experiments on brain enhancing Jakob's cooking skill. Jakob is a Natural Cook, so let's hope this works!
I think the experiment was a success because Jakob gets up and immediately decides to watch the cooking channel. 2-Rad enhances his own brain and gains a point in charisma.
Soon Zipha also runs an experiment on Jakob, testing his reflexes with a rubber ducky. Nerdy plumbots!
It's not all bad though. Zipha offers him a shoulder massage.
Jakob: A little more to the left...ahhh!
Meanwhile Beth upgrades the old stereo because she wants to master her handiness skill. She's at level 9.
Later, Jakob joins Beth and Hank for brunch time shawarma.
Jakob: Oh, I'd love to have this recipe! So delicious!
That afternoon, after upgrading the stereo, fixing a broken shower and a toilet, then upgrading a computer, Beth hits level 10 in handiness.
Hank pounds the pavement early that day, chasing down Gunnar the Hot Dog for an interview. You may remember Gunnar from the Spooky Day party. Apparently, he hasn't changed his outfit yet.
Hank: Tell me about this missing sim...
Following a lead from the hot dog, Hank checks the beach for clues.
Hank: Well, here's a shady character!
Me: That's your shadow, Hank.
Hank: Hmm, not so sure about that...
Hank: I better keep a close eye on this sneaky fellow.
Me: Sigh
Hank gets another lead and runs off to check school records, catching a glimpse of an ice water maniac. These Aurorans are a hardy bunch! And I've noticed the guys are mostly square-jawed blondes with muscles.
In the end, Hank finds the poor sim and reports in to Gunnar, who has finally emerged from his hot dog costume. And yes, he's also a well-built blonde!
Hank receives a hero trophy for finding 3 missing sims.
His next case isn't so uplifting. Digging up some dirt is part of the job.
But he then spies on his suspect at an unusual location in town--the balloon park.
Now, this is awkward. Hank has to confront Jakob's wife about taking bribes--in front of their little toddler!
Baby Ingberg: Do you know where my daddy is?
Hank: Uh, your dad's over at our place, kiddo. He'll be home...sometime.
Yah, Jakob is enjoying his time away from the kids. He and Beth are playing dominoes. Don't you just love how ladylike sim women sit?
Me: Really Beth...you're wearing a short skirt. Keep your knees together! Poor Jakob is having a hard time concentrating.
Beth: That's the plan!
Zipha makes a trip to campus to work on science skills.
Analyzing specimens.
In the meantime, 2-Rad upgrades his brain enhancing station.
Just as the full moon rises.
