Hera finished writing her first book, "Lab Pranks." It's a humorous look behind the scenes of scientific research. Piers also had another recent success besides finally enhancing Malcolm's brain. He discovered the Super Spice.
This is what he'd been researching as a cure for his Botanitis Minorous. The cure came too late for him; he'd already gone to the school lab for the plantsim treatment. But he had the Spice on hand now just in case there were any more infections.
So on Leisure Day, Piers and Hera went on their first official date. They decided to check out the B&B. They'd heard that it was a popular place for locals and tourists alike.
Hera also boxed up some of the household's extra autumn salad. The roommates had made quite a bit of it. She brought it down to the hostel to share. The accommodations were nice, but it seemed everything was self-serve: cooking, cleaning, repairs. Housekeeping only came in once a night.
Piers and Hera rented the best bed in the house. The Sweetheart Room. It included a special vibrating bed made just for fun!
Piers: What do you think, Hera? Want to give it a go?
Hera (giggling): Do we dare?
Piers: Oh, I think so!
With both having a good sense of humor, they enjoyed every minute on that crazy bed!
They laughed and held each other tightly. Piers almost slipped off the bed a couple of times--until he got the hang of rolling with the rhythm!
It was a special time. Something to always remember.
But all the ruckus downstairs made them decide to look for other attractions in Rinn Fada.
Following some back roads, they headed for the library. They'd heard it was something to see.
The drive itself was lovely. Nothing like this in London!
The library was a renovated mansion that had been donated for educational purposes.
It would take some time to explore this place! But with Piers' Genius trait and Hera's Bookworm, they'd love to spend some lazy afternoons here.
The garden would also be a wonderful spot for future dates.
After touring the library for a while, Piers and Hera headed back home to their own cozy bed. Piers never slept so soundly.
In fact, he'd been waking up refreshed and untroubled most every morning since sharing a bed with Hera. ...But he was worried about his friend Bunter. Vinnie was still pining for Laurie. (That's him in the background dreaming of romance.)
