Bunter: I don't understand why this keeps happening! What's wrong with me?
Clodagh: There, there. It'll be ok.
Bunter: Show me, Clo. Show me it'll be ok!
Clodagh: Vinnie, no! Not while you're thinking of Ruth! Don't be creepy!
So Bunter decided he'd need to be a little more subtle. He was sure Clodagh wouldn't mind watching the stars with him. Girls always liked that kind of romantic thing.
He asked her if she'd like to head over to the gym with him. Do a little working out.
Bunter: It would really help lift my spirits, Clo. Would you come with me?
Clodagh: All right, sure. For a little while.
The gym was completely empty except for the two of them. Bunter wowed Clodagh with flowers.
Bunter: I picked these especially for you.
Clodagh: Oh my!
And while she was still entranced with him, he made another move. This time, all thoughts were on Clodagh.
That went well, so he kept her "off balanced" with kisses.
Clodagh was not complaining. She'd forgotten her other romantic interest. Killian Wall was fading more and more into the background. (Bunter had an option to ask Clodagh to break up with Killian, but I decided given the circumstances, Clodagh should make that choice herself.)
Things couldn't have worked out any better for Bunter than this! ...Well, he did end up with a Cold Shower moodlet. A small price to pay.
A rare photo of Marvin "Vinnie" Bunter only wearing his pixels.
This episode was only meant to be a one-time fling. It was understood. Bunter and Clodagh had been flirting with romance for some time now, but a relationship would just be too complicated. And though they'd never regret their time together, they had to remember Ruth. It was a bittersweet ending.
Before going their separate ways, they played one game of basketball to reestablish their friendship.
It wasn't easy for Bunter to let Clodagh go. Or Ruth. He'd really miss the McCormack twins.
But Bunter needed to get himself back in control. His genie nature was slipping out. And that wasn't always good.
He was feeling a little off balanced himself.
He slept for a while that afternoon, but his dreams were restless, full of pain and anger.
No amount of SimFu discipline seemed to help either, even with a new level in the skill.
That night, a waxing moon rose in the sky, prelude to next night's full moon...
...when the Djinni would confront the Vampire.
