Just found: my first summer gnome ever. (He's the one with the floating tube.)
The firehouse is a hot bed of romance! I discovered this by chance when Bunter went over to spar with Bo. This is Johnny O'Gorman and Bill Brennan. You'll remember Bill is the fire chief and is married. Johnny is an ex cop, now a fireman, and is divorced.
When Bunter walked by, they cooled it.
Then when he went upstairs, they started in again!
And BTW, this lady fire fighter? That's Johnny's ex-wife!
Ok, so Bunter wasn't feeling at his best because of his breakup with Ruth, but still, I have to give full credit to Bo. He won the sparring match 2-1 against Bunter. And his athletic and martial arts scores aren't nearly as high. Must be his new Disciplined trait. Kudos, Bo!
And he does practice with the SimFu dummy on his own. I decided to place an inventing table in the firehouse for him too. He's Eccentric and at level 6 inventing. I stocked it with plenty of scrap metal. Enjoy, Bo. You deserve it.
In fact, Bo offered Bunter an opportunity to go to China to learn "secret techniques." Bunter accepted.
I checked in on David and Bo at home. They seem to be doing ok there. A little flirting and socializing. Still no big news on that front.
Piers has the athletic trait, but hadn't done any martial arts. It didn't take him long to reach level 3.
But he has no defense when it comes to socializing with the women in town! Piers got cornered by this lady. She was pretty aggressive with him. Maybe she thought he was like his valet. No, Piers is not really a lady's man!
Where was his fiancee? Hera had gone into the salon to offer a makeover to fire fighter O'Gorman, leaving Piers to fend for himself.
Piers: Dear god! HERA! Where are you?
After escaping the clutches of the lady predator, Piers couldn't figure out how to get to Hera inside the shop.
Piers: Hera! How could you desert me like that! I was just attacked by a feral female! Don't you even care?
I caught a glimpse of Christine Meaney now driving a limo. She thinks she owns the town. But she thinks wrong!
And while I was stalking her, Bunter had gotten on a slot machine at the theater. Uh oh! He was playing high stakes at $300 buy in, and he was not doing well. He now had two unlucky moodlets and one more about a cold machine. These on top of his broken heart moodlet. He was cursing and kicking the machine. Such a foul temper!
Poor guy really was out of sorts, an emotional wreck!
I told him to change machines before he lost any more money. But only low stakes, Vinnie. Five bucks. He won the jackpot and came out a winner. ...Sims. If they only had a little more common sense they could take over the world!
