They were all three dressed as firemen. In fact, they WERE firemen. This wasn't a house; it was the fire station. And the guys looked bored to death!
Meet the men of Rinn Fada's fire brigade:
The dark-haired lad is Bo Walsh. He's the rookie, level 3, fire safety. He has no Brave or Daredevil trait. I guess he just thought being a fireman would be fun.
Next to him is his boss, Sergeant Bill Brennan, level 6. A slight acquaintance of Bunter's, who shares his Brave trait.
The tough with his back turned is a shady character named Killian Wall, level 5 fireman. Bunter doesn't know this yet, but Killian is Clodagh's romantic interest. He's a Daredevil--and maybe just a devil in general!
Well, I thought maybe the boys needed some excitement. After all, that's why they joined the team, right? So early the next morning...
Me: Hey guys! Someone (NRaas DE) left the hot dogs out on the grill and you've got a real problem on your hands!! ....Guys?
Uh oh. I forgot it was Love Day. Everyone in Simland gets the day off! I better sound the alarm. (Uses DE to start all the fire alarms.)
The first one to show was the rookie Bo Walsh, ready for action!
Remember he's the only one of the three who doesn't have a natural trait for fighting fires. But he quickly scans the situation and goes right to it!
Next to appear is Sergeant Bill Brennan. Whew! Now Bo will have some experienced help.
But Bill seems to be getting more in the way than helping! ...Last to arrive is Killian Wall.
Killian: Hey Bo! What's up?
Bo: Sergeant, if you could just step aside, sir...
Killian: Dang! What a fire! Wow! Look at it crackling! Awesome!!
Bill: Help! I'm trapped! Aaaooo! Cough, cough! (I was ready to reset the Sergeant...just in case.)
Bo: Don't worry sir! I've got you covered!
Others came running to see the show. But by then Bo had most of the flames extinguished--while his superiors stood by yelling and dancing around.
You did it, Bo! I'm proud of you! I can now say that Rinn Fada has outstanding firefighters. Well, one anyway.
And as our hero slowly makes his lonely way back home, I think maybe I should reward him with a promotion.
Then I see the car he gets into: a $36,000 VFN Kompensator! Well, I do believe Bo is doing okay for himself!
