But Taya still had rebellious ideas and spent a lot of time with Grimmie at his Life and Death home in the cemetery. He had become a dear friend to her. But Grimmie was in love with Taya. She knew that...and encouraged it by drinking his plasma whenever she could.
One day Taya used special powers (NRaas) while sleeping to invite Grimmie over to the house. But she was in for a surprise!
This was not her beloved Grimmie! This was the Other Grim! (I invited the friend Grim, but the game sent the wrong one.)
Grim Reaper: Hi ya!
Taya was NOT pleased and took off for Grimmie's house to find out why he sent the Other Grim in his place!
Meanwhile, the Other Grim tried to get in the side door. He was as sensitive to the sun as the vampires--in his own way.
Horus felt sorry for the guy, let him in, and listened to his chatter for a while. ...Now if you don't remember about Horus, well...
Mother Viola used a potion she bought to turn him into a werewolf. She wanted his help with gathering things to sell at the store. She's a Frugal homemaker who Hates the Outdoors.
There are a few other things to know about Horus. One, he's a martial arts expert. And he's been through more than one change recently, so he's trying to keep his temper in check. But he did forgive Viola. In fact, he finds her attractive, in a pale housewifey sort of way.
She's also a good gardener and cook. Horus has a big appetite now that he's a werewolf.
And Viola grows healing herbs to help him with his annoying flea trouble.
She just sprinkles a few into his snacks and dinners and he's a new wolf!
Horus can then forget his werewolf complaints and practice for his SimFu sparring matches. ...Oh! And the other thing about Horus?
His full name is Horus Mumses III, a resurrected mummy from Al Simhara. Before Horus was a werewolf, he was a mummy. And he's got the martial arts wraps to prove it! No wonder Horus is so out of sorts!
But where were we? ...Oh yes. The Other Grim was in the house. Upstairs, Morgan had woken from his slumber and was working on a new elixir. His vampire senses told him there was strange plasma nearby--so to speak. Not sure how much plasma is still flowing in Reaper bones.
Morgan descended the stairs, and being a Computer Whiz Hacker vampire, he initiated a conversation with Death about computing. All the while, he was getting hungrier and hungrier.
Soon, he succumbed to his appetite and took a bite out of the Other Grim.
Yuck! Tastes like Couch Potato! Not very appetizing to an Athletic vampire.
While all this is going on back at the house, Taya had arrived at the cemetery and knocked on Grimmie's door.
Taya: You stood me up!
Grimmie: Taya! My Love!
Taya: Don't you My Love me! You Coward! You sent that Other Grim instead! You think I wouldn't notice?
Grimmie: Of course you'd notice. I'd hoped you would anyway. I just...I just was afraid of meeting--uh--you know--Him.
Taya: Oh Grimmie. (sigh)
Taya and Grimmie spent some quality time together as Old Friends.
Times passed quickly--as it always does in life.
You never know when your time is up.
So enjoy your friends while you can. They'll soon be gone.
After Grimmie had to leave to reenter the netherworld, Taya realized she hadn't had a chance to feed on her "dear friend." But she noticed another friend close by--David, an herb-enhanced Rebel friend. Hmm. She'd need to break into his chat with the lady.
Taya: How have you been, David? Haven't seen you in a while.
David: Oh, I've been good. Pretty good. Miss seeing you around though. Ever since you moved in with that Yates yahoo.
Taya: Well now, David. You need to come by and see me sometime. You know I've always admired you.
And before "Sweet Grass infused" David knew what was happening...
Taya: Yum, so much tastier than dry bones!
Night was upon them and Morgan was feeling the need to find Taya. A quick scan of the area told him she'd headed to the park with a couple of her Rebel friends. Rebels! Always those interfering Rebels. Morgan had even joined up with them to keep an eye on Taya. Her Commitment Issues worried him. Leaving the Other Grim on the sidewalk, Morgan raced to the park.
One of these nights, Morgan would have to do something about Taya's "friends"--the male ones. But for now, he'd just have to try to blend in. After all, that's what vampires have always had to do. ...And he WAS a vampire now, wasn't he?
