2. Piers Meets Mulder and Clouseau

Actor Edward Petherbridge as Lord Peter Wimsey.

My initial version of Lord Piers Wimsel. When I get Piers to his new world, I think I'll tone down his coloring a bit--work with his hairstyle. Sims always look different in game than they do in CAS. I'll probably add some ash blonde to his hair too. The original Lord Peter wore an eye monocle, but it wasn't available when I created Piers, so I used glasses. I like the glasses, but I might add the monocle to a couple of his outfits with NRaas Stylist.

The first thing Lord Piers did (on his own) when he joined the Riddle household was have tea. Of course!

Piers' traits are Genius, Athletic, Avant Garde, Good Sense of Humor, and Unstable. All these traits were chosen with the fictional character Lord Peter Wimsey in mind. The Unstable trait comes from Wimsey's shell shock disorder after serving as a distinguished officer in World War I. I thought Unstable was the best trait choice to mimic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (shell shock).

It was early morning, and Di was still asleep, so Piers took the opportunity to get acquainted with the pups.

Mulder and Clouseau accepted Piers right away. Neither pup inherited their dad's Aggressive trait.

Piers: Would you like to come live at my place? You can chase all the water beetles you want!
Mulder: Will I be able to swim?
Piers: Absolutely!

About this time, both Marple and Spade went in to wake up Di by barking and jumping on her bed. Rise and Shine!

Di: When I heard that Cousin Sinclair's nephew from England would be in town, I just had to contact you. So good of you to adopt Marple's pups. I've been worried about them.
Piers: Happy to oblige. I just bought a new place, and the pups will be more than welcome.

Di: Well, you seem to be a smart young man. I guess you'll take good care of those two. They're very active, you know!

Piers: I'm used to training hounds and spaniels. Been around them all my life.

Spade said goodbye to his boys, and with a final lick from Marple...

The pups were tucked safely into Lord Piers' Daimler Double-Six automobile.
