When I started, 5:00 AM Sims time, I saw the Saloon Girls arrive at the casino across the street. These gals are serious Party Animals!
I was going to try to get a pic of Holly working on her new Teppanyaki grill with Roy and Riley sitting at the counter, but the guys kept popping up and trying to eat leftover Mac and Cheese. They were hungry. Then they all went outside to the cheap patio chairs instead of using their expensive bar stools or dining chairs. None of them have the Loves Outdoors trait either.
For annoying me, I made Roy cook pancakes. He got me back, though, because he used the life fruit he had in his inventory. Wasted a life fruit in pancakes! At least he didn't burn them.
Riley had just a few minutes to play before the bus came by, his first day of school here.
The main thing I did today was add a sunken area to the large room where the pool had been in the gym. I wanted it to include a small space for gardening, with a couple of trees too.
I put flowers around a few harvestable plants using the grow rugs.
I had to make sure the trees and plants were accessible in the flowers. The rose bushes had to be a little further away from the trees.
This is what it looks like inside the foundation, with the floor not showing. The two stairs lead down into the sunken area.
I added the fireplace too and used the Old Mill recolorable chimney pieces. This living area is open all the way through to the third floor.
I did a little decorating on the second floor balcony area. It overlooks the living room and the foyer, but it's hard to get a good screenshot angle.
I haven't done much with the third floor bedrooms yet. I tried putting in a small balcony off the hall to the right, but it messed up the roof. Not sure I want to deal with changing the roof again, so I undid the balcony for now. I have to think about that.
I added a few things to the little room on top of the house for Holly's alchemy. The door leads to the open rooftop from here. That area could be used for something in the future, or just to expand this small room.
A half-wall hides the staircase.
While Holly magically upgraded a few things, Roy had to go to work. He didn't look too thrilled with the idea, but he has to bring in money for these renovations! He's level 10 and makes a good salary now.
After work, I let him get an ice cream. Instead of eating it at home where he was, he took a taxi and rode to this small park. Crazy sims!
